Mind if I ask what is fun about this game or remotely interesting about this video of watching a train go along a dull track? I don't mean to be offensive and am fully open to the posibility I simply unable to appreciate it, as it is clearly enjoyed by others, but would someone please explain to me what is good whatsoever about it?
i WAS JUST WATCHING A BOAT simulator video wiht the same thing, just a big ass boat and you sontrol it as it goes along at 15 nots and sit there wiht your finger in your nose....now im watching this train stuff and I REALLY dont get it, not that im hating on people that do because there is a market for it but i dont get it......I have been playing Flight Simulator for over a year now and that is at least realistic and really exciting because its planes, but I just dont get the boat and train..
For me driving the train is a small part of the interest making the maps in scenery is the creative part.. sometimes If im bored Ill make a rollercoaster out of it
deff not cardiff or newport , they should if not already make a sim from london to pembroke dock ,,, as for virgin trains from cardiff i do belive there is one which leaves around 7am.
do they even have virgin trains going from cardiff, because i've never seen one. well probably because i only ever really go there about once a month, but still.
They used to run a train out and in once a day and I think they still do although now they have lost the franchise so it is technically 'CrossCountry' running the trains now.
Pity. He could get some hints on track layout by using Google Earth, and I'm sure I could find time to help him with signalling. I used to sign the route to Bristol and still remember vast amounts of signalling.
anyone notice the word NEWCASTLE on the front of that train or is it just me?

He does say the word "extended" in the description. Just imagine it is 2 Voyagers coupled together.

It's CrossCountry now but yes there is a daily service departing early in the morning and returing to Newport about 8pm before going onto Cardiff.

Now I know this is a simulator, but that's so far from reality the creator has a cheek calling it Cardiff or Newport...
Where do all the extra lines come from/go to? Where's Newport Tunnel? Since when did they make it 90mph through Newport? (it's 20).
FWIW, I'm a train driver based at Cardiff and run that route extremely frequently.

I agree - I'm only a passenger but I can tell there are huge errors but it's the only version of this route out at the moment.
