I got a question for you.D'ont yoy have any other videos like "Ninja Tribute","Yuen Biao Tribute","Kicking Tribute"...and many other stuff ?! There is a time when i'm go on youtube, one user had many videos like this one and i can't find it anymore or remeber his name...i thought his you.
THIS. IS FRIGGIN NINJA. THE WRIST BACKFLIP AT THE END, AND THE JUMP OVER THE CAR WERE MY FAVOURITES. OMG. i feel so bad these pple were so pooor at that time they had to do anything for money but.. u can rlly c how pro pple can b without the shaking cameras half the time.
With all these great action and stunts and people in the U.S still said star wars and American movies are the best action in the world. When i read about it, I laugh myself to sleep. American movies are nothing compare to these as to actions.
@thawjzagxwb yeah you're right! the action films that the americans used to do are all "camera tricks!" While Hong Kong films like these guys are "all for real!" Even the great Hong Kong actresses in the early 80's and late 90's ...like Moon Lee and Sibelle Hu in Devil Hunters ;)
Fan fucking tastic!! a lot of ppl disregard just how amazing these HK stunts r. hollywood will NEVER contend with this gritty work. everyone of those guys r superheroes. i thank the HK film industry for giving us this celluloid magic. nuff respect to the work they do. long live HK cinema!!
holy fuck that was just 5:24 damn that was real i can bet wow that's one of the reasons why i love hong kong action its so realistic almost 80-90% just love those stunts no country can produce movies that have stunts like these except those technological special effects
jackie chan's stunts are insane! probably the best. Even though what i always loved about his films were the fighting scenes. His technique, when he was 20-30 was awesome
Does anybody knows where i can find the version of the wong fei hung theme that plays at the beginning of this video,i cannot find it anywhere, if anybody have this , can you send it to me please, thnx
the men and women that makeing these movies is so amazing, and woot make it even better they never complane if they get hurt they just go on, like Jackie chan in the movie called Rumble in the Bronx even if that not made in H&K, in it he water ski with his feet after and helecopter after he have brake his ankel and have 1 foot in plaster :)
i'm actually giving off ascreen test for hong kong atm and there is a huge appeal for whites over there ..... and i hope that i get some sort of deal i have been doing stunts for a year now and have improved from the last time posted anything
First of all actors like Jackie Chan and Yuen Biao don't exist anymore. These guys started training from a very young age, the stunt guys or actors today don't go through those kind of training and can't do things those guys used to do. Another thing is actors of today will not risk their life doing those stunts, put it in short they don't make them like they used to.
@freedent there are still plenty but havent got any chance in Hong Kong to change from a stuntman to an actor. Mostly actors in HK nowadays come from a rich background or come from the music or soap industry.
@freedent I have two words for you, my friend: Tony Jaa. True, you can't depend on Hong Kong to produce this kind of stunt-heavy work anymore, but the level of stuntwork he displays easily puts him up there with the best of Jackie and his opera brothers.
I agree with freedent, stunt work of this kind is demanding and dangerous. Many of the stunts doubles have suffered debilitating injuries and everyone in the business have their scars to show for it. Of course this wouldn't be a problem if the genre was still lucrative and worth it. Unfortunately, with the coming of the teeny stars and icons and the valuing of looks over talent, the genre is not what it used to be. You can kill yourself and still be a no-namer. I wouldn't do it even if i could.
from wich movie is the scene on 02:52 taken from, i wanna see the movie.
why cant they make films like this anymore, every body wants to see new movies with special efects and stuff like that, thoes movies aint that good, but old chinese movies are best. the stunts are amaizing!!
yeah, today all the actors doesn't even have to do a fart to make it look like a stunt ! In new movies Jackie Chan told Ellen Degeneres that you can in the studio jump 2-3 metres and make it look like you're jumping 10metres xD> !! hahaha

This is great! Ooh, Yuen Biao doing his magic, always pleasure to see that. Also fantastic Hsiao Hou!
Jackie Chan's stunts were made by Cheung Wing Fat aka Mars, Chin Kar Lok, Yuen Biao and many others.

I think I identify the last song you used... But then I don't know the name. Can you provide it?
Plus, I've always loved the stunts. Jackie Chan indirectly encouraged me to learn by myself how to do some stunts as child, on my parents bed, haha.
I've seen videos in which the stuntman jumps from over 10mts and fall right to the ground, no tricks. Just practice.
Hope you answer soon. Thanks.
