The things you described may not apply to people in most industrialized nations, but the third world still experiences death, hunger and famine on a massive scale. In addition, the population is EXPLODING because of medical advances and human beings will undoubtedly feel the pressre once our natural resources start drying up and we've got nowhere to run. Personally, I can't wait for the chaos :)

I only see the world getting better, overall, from here.

It can be either physical photos or it can be blank black/white cards when shot and later the pictures that are supposed to be on the card are put on the cards by tracking the motion of the card. It can be done with Adobe After Effects and similar software.
