  • @MatthewDZak Americans sure know how to piss away money like no others!

  • hey people 1 plus 1 equals 2 1 plus 1 don't equal 3 Paul makes sense.

  • am i wrong about the tea party? im a Ron Paul supporter and in case you forgot, the 2007 tea party were started by the young people of america and the disenfranchised, it was the college campuses around the country that held rally's for Paul not buy the opportunistic Dick Amrey, and fox news, that is what i meant by the tea party is different from then to now.The tea party of 07 had a mix of democrats and independents now it's the vehicle of republican party.

  • it doesnt even matter who the next president is..bush fucked everything up for the all the other presidents after him. when clinton was in office everyone was happy, we all had jobs, people where buying homes, americans owned businesses, companies wernt shuting down, gas was cheap and there wasnt no on-going war happening. what happend to this country? BUSH HAPPENDED

  • I wish he would be president, but seriously..do you know what he's up against? The most powerful "machine" in the world. This is going to take a miracle.

  • Ron paul or Romney 2012!!!

  • @Mycommentsgethumbsup or Romney? no way..he is another trojan horse. Look at his record compared to Paul's.

  • Ha! Republicans will fail this election due to there bigoted outlook on the world and there unrealistic agenda on economics. The only voters they have are conspiracy theorists who believe Obama is a Muslim or that the government is omnipotent and orchestrated 911. If I offended any of you good, join a communist party.

  • @SocialistThoughts1 oh jeez..get with it. It's not about party anymore. It's about truth. Go find it bro.

  • I like your Paul, but not your Paultards.

  • "The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States" -- The Constitution of the United States

  • Paul/Rand types always ignore the two passages in the Constitution that refer to "the General Welfare" (Preamble and Article 1, Section 8).

This doesn't mean "handouts"; it means creating a just society that rewards people for hard work and paying into the system. Thus, the Constitutional basis for entitlements. Those who argue otherwise are ignoring both the Constitution itself and the history of its interpretation as realized in the reality of American institutions

  • Ron and Rand Paul are racists, anti-Semites, and anti-American plutocrats. The cult that has sprung up around them is pathetic.

  • @sutircomed "racists, anti-Semites, and anti-American plutocrats" no facts? now,i don't agree 100% with ron paul, but i can't imagine how you came up with any of these. saying "we shouldn't bankrupt our country, don't take money from hardworking people and give it to crack heads and lazy fuckers who think jerry springer is more important than finding a job, and stop taking away the RIGHTS and FREEDOMS of the american people, all in the name of the ILLUSION of security" is hardly anti-american.

  • The tea party has been compromised by the establishment of the republican party and Fox news. the tea party of 2007 is totally different from the tea party of today. the tea party of today have become more social than fiscal you could tell by the way thy are flocking to Rep. Bachmann and others, so to me there's a tale of two Tea party's the original 2007 party who is 1.Constitutional 2. Fiscal 3. social. Tea party of today is more 1.social 2. fiscal 3.constitutional.

  • @AlphaSigma what do you expect...hows does one best counter a threat? absorb it if possible, warp it and make it ones own. garbage in garbage out was the old paradigm...the machine itself is garbage. so regardless of whether its good or bad input , it will come out bad. we need a new machine

  • @AlphaSigma I always saw the tea party of today as

    1. Cunts

    2. Dumb Cunts

    3. Racists

    4. Cunts

    5. Christian fanatics

    6. Fanatical christain cunts As opposed to the older tea party, which were, in my opinion, 1. Fiscal 2. Social 3. Constitutional

And that is being kind. I don't think (besides the Ron Paul sect) that they ever cared about the Constitution. I have no reason to believe it. They only supported it if it supported their agenda.

  • @AlphaSigma Agreed. I think the social side took over now though because it's more talked about to a broader audience. Similar to a musician you like that has a "hit" , hes still good but not as good when you first discovered him before that "hit". Fox news loved it, then they hated it, now they are scared of it. The Tea Party movement was a "all across the board" thing. Not a Republican/Democrat thing and Fox news used it on a national level to try to twist it to their side in the beginning.

  • Screwing your kids (with debt and inflation) in the process of policing the world is just wrong

  • Ron Paul = Gandalf of US politics!

  • I just started a Ron Paul myspace account, go visit it and let me know what you think. It's "Paul's Revolution", and all the videos are in my blogs (which I update weekly, sometimes daily). The purpose is to educate and get the word out.

  • Boehner's approval rating has dropped 10% as a result of the manufactured debt ceiling "crisis." And Congress now has, very deservedly, its lowest approval rating EVER. He and his cronies will be voted out in 2012.

  • @TerminallyPsychotic defense against what?

  • We should take their wealth away that we gave them, call it a "tax". Send them into Mexico, To promote their war on drugs.

  • Enemy of Greece, Europe, & America ---- Jew

    1. Goldman Sachs CEO, Lyold Blankfein is Jew

    2. IMF Deputy CEO, John Lisky is Jew

    3. Ex IMF CEO, Dominic Strauss is Jew

    4. World Bank CEO, Robert Zoellick is Jew

    5. Ex World Bank CEO, James Woolfesen is Jew

    6. Fed Chairman, Ben Bernanke is Jew

    7. Ex Fed Chairman, Alan Greenspan is Jew

    8. Obama Treasury Secretary, Timothy Geithner is Jew

    9. George Bush Treasury Secretary, Hank Paulson is Jew

  • ron fucking paul for president!

  • @TerminallyPsychotic Ok fair point, at least you're for spending cuts. We just disagree on where the cuts should be. But we haven't really come to conclusions about my second point. If we go ahead with your plan, I envision a new type of warfare. Economic terrorism. Osama did it and was successful. The slightest hint of Anti-American sentiment raises flags and we invest heavily to go in to THEIR country to protect OUR national security. When that money can be spent on superior reactive defense?

  • Sorry I just don't see the logic in that! But I'm glad it's not getting ugly and criticism is constructive.

  • @TheGameIsRigged1 him and congress. But we will never default as long as the Fed is around. That would mean the Fed failed.

  • @TerminallyPsychotic I am unclear of your argument with your statement on government spending, it's just reinforced it. About intervention. When will it end, from your perspective? How many more countries will we have to invade to feel safe? The very defense policy you advocate sucks the taxpayer dry! Your second statement contradicts your first. "Yes, we're broke, so lets continue to fund our foreign policy with money we don't have in the name of defense."

  • @eUpHoRiKa no one talks about the only product still produced by the United States. The weapons manufacturing industry exists for the sole purpose of perpetrating war and selling people on that idea that we are somehow protecting our national security by invading other nations. Raise taxes on the rich, and remove the Bush tax cuts and it will barely put a dent on the ever increasing military spending.

  • @mikejpete Absolutely agree. It's a shame some engaged in this conversation fail to realize that the foreign policy and it's proponents are the biggest bane to congressional spending at this time. Cuts elsewhere represent a fraction of the foreign policy outright.

  • @TerminallyPsychotic Cmon, the nation WILL NOT DEFAULT on debt under Obama. The debt ceiling will be raised, paperpress production increased by the Fed. and it simply sets the stage for more useless policymaking that hurts the nation outright. And what with all this war propaganda? Geez! O'Reilly, is that you? Your argument for retaining troops is defense? To lend some worth to thelister4910's refute, how about I go to your house and tell your mom how to make pie?

  • Comment removed

  • @TerminallyPsychotic If it's such a stupid question, why don't you answer it with you superior intellect?

  • @TerminallyPsychotic Why would Al Qaeda want to attack us at all? Why don't they go and bomb Sweden for example? How come Sweden hardly ever is the target of attack?

You seem to have pretty strong ideas here, maybe I should go to your family's homes and patrol their houses with guns and make sure they don't do anything I don't like. That way I wouldn't have to worry about you doing anything that might harm me or that I don't agree with. What do you think of that?

  • look behind the curtain

  • @TerminallyPsychotic It is not our job to occupy every country in the world that could possibly do something wrong. To think that we can, or should forever is insanity. We would be much safer is we pulled out of all of these countries and just concentrated on defense. If a foreign power was crazy enough to decide to start nuking us (which of course would mean certain destruction for any said power) then military action would be taken if necessary.

  • @TerminallyPsychotic Yes... I said we need change. For over a year before Obama was elected I said I thought he would be the next president. I was also able to see he would not truly change things as we need them to change. It's not that hard, every well-known candidate for a long time has been more of the same shit cake, with a slightly different icing.

  • Yes!!!

  • @TerminallyPsychotic Droning other nations and being the world police is going to cause a world war. Getting the fuck out of other people's business will not. Would you like it if China set up a base in America to fight off the KKK? Makes about as much sense. Here's a hint : Don't call people a "dummy" when you can't spell. People don't hate us for our freedom. They hate us for our foreign policy. You have a childish mind, and believe all the lies the gov. tells you. Who's the "dumbey" now? Haha

  • @TerminallyPsychotic Why should we protect S.K. or Taiwan, or anyone? The people want us out of their, so let them get attacked. A lot of other countries never get attacked, and they don't have bases all over the world. We don't need the U.N. or NATO either. We send 100,000 troops to a country, and they send us 2,000 of their troops to help us. Do we really need their 2K troops? U.N is nothing but a bunch of other nations telling us how we should live. Look some shit up, and quit watching t.v.

  • @DEMOCRATloyalty You're full of shit. Obama will help to further destroy this country through spending, war, and continued failed policies. We have major problems, and need major change, not just a black president with slightly different views than Bush and the others. Black or white, red, blue, it's all the same. It's time for something DIFFERENT.

  • I believe that Ron Paul is America's final hope. If he does not get elected now, he will simply be too old the next time. Be smart and convince your family and friends to vote for Ron Paul.

If Ron Paul gets elected then there's a risk that he will get assassinated like Kennedy and all the other Presidents who wanted to "End the Fed". They make it look like that it was an angry citizen, but its the corporations and banksters who want him dead.

After all, he wants to End the Fed.

  • we need to close the boarders and stop the illegals who the liberal democrats use as a voting base.

  • But it's completely different when that conviction is blind. You vote for and believe in Democrats simply because the are Democrats, it's clear you don't pay attention to what's going on. Your Mr. Truth who has all of his facts straight, is constantly screwing the American people. He has yet to deliver on a single promise he has made. His "budget cuts" are excessively taxing a people that have dirt in their pockets. He defies the Constitution, the very laws he swore to uphold. He has taken away

  • @democraticloyalty.

I think it's good to have conviction about one's political views,

  • @DEMOCRATloyalty what will happen then when they get rid of the 2 party system?

  • @DEMOCRATloyalty excuse me...congress*

  • @DEMOCRATloyalty i have news for you, republicans and democrats in the white house dont give a fuck about you. maybe u will realise soon that they work together behind the scenes. they make laws to profit off of and when the people force them to change, they profit as long as they can together through indecision and arguing. now stop appealing to loyalties and accually try to understand this guys voting history and what he offers to the table.

  • LIBERTARIANMONARCHY . COM

  • Ron Paul A MAN WITH A SPINE

  • the revolution pac. when u donate to a campain i think the limit is 2500 dolars but with super pacs people can donate to "helpers" of the campain and it has no limit on what u can donate. ron paul has his now up and running and its turning up good results.

  • RON PAUL SIGN BOMB DOT COM BIGGEST GRASSROOTS DEMONSTRATION EVER ON 10.10.11 BE A PART OF IT!

  • @TerminallyPsychotic Yeah sure, crazy foreign policy. He wants to do crazy stuff like be friends with other nations, quit ordering them to do what we want, quit running drones over their country and bombing the citizens, and quit building our bases/embassy's in people's backyard. Sure, that does sound crazy *sarcasm*. The world hates us for our foreign policy, and they would quit trying to attack us if we backed off and let them fight their own war. Ron Paul 2012.

  • @TerminallyPsychotic Ron Paul is bang on with his foreign policy. Befriend other nations, sure...but ally with no one. Stop the military industrial complex that has bankrupted America. A much better idea is to stay out of the affairs of others and concentrate on our own. It makes more sense, and it's a LOT cheaper.

  • media will now interview ron paul, the super pac is making sure of it and doing a great job.

  • @mojorisingist what is the super pac

  • @deceiver123m revolutionpac(dot)com

  • @mojorisingist yah that la rouche guy is alright by me.

  • I almost wish dr Paul would play the game of being mr politician until he gets elected and then go through with all his plans. I think he

  • Kudlow brought up a really good idea there. If Ron Paul would get together with the many top notch economist he knows from the Mises institute, and put something down on paper; that would send a shockwave through mainstream media.

The mainstream media would try to poke holes in it of course, but knowing the intelligence of Dr.Paul and his colleges, I`d say a solid plan would be bulletproof.

  • endless debt. endless war. do your kids a favor and dont give birth t them in the first place. or dont register them

  • @bradq or leave the country...

  • @DeusMalleus something certainly worth considering. at least it should be shelved as an option later.

  • @bradq Way ahead of you. I want kids but I'm not selfish enough to give birth to them in this century.

  • @YourOasis97 agree, got two puppies instead :)

  • This guy is so great. We need some mini ron pauls that are on the way up to continue to his message and change the country back to the constitution in the way it way intended.

  • a shame RP is fugly.... ameritards usually vote for shiny pretty candidates....

  • The media has the responsibility to tell the public the truth about what Washington has done, but they won't. The primary reason is that it will hurt Democrats more than Republicans. The Republicans war machine is not without fault, but the Democrats simply love spending more than most Republicans.

  • There might be a lot of people on here who support Ron Paul, but we represent a very small minority of the US population. All the lemming idiots out there are going to vote for one of the two media-chosen puppets.

  • Ron Paul: the only intelligent person in Washington.

  • @Evongelo That's not true. I think what you're trying to say is he's the only one willing to make the right choice.

  • @Evongelo

    What about Rand?

  • @SovereignStatesman I don't know enough about Rand.

  • @Evongelo

Then you can't say he's not intelligent.

  • @SovereignStatesman I was being facetious, of course theres other intelligent people in washington...just not many of them.

  • @Evongelo

To tell you the truth, I don't think there are ANY.

Ron Paul is appealing to the voting mob, to fix the mess they caused; I don't think that can work.

Watch my video, and you'll see that there's no hope as long as the People who ratified the Constitution-- i.e. the Peoples of the individual respective STATES-- continue to be suppressed by the empire.

  • @Evongelo Please register online today as a REPUB if you want to vote Ron Paul . Many of his supporters cross party lines and may be shocked to discover they cant vote for him in the critical primary election if they are a DEM in a closed primary state . Dont take a chance because his nomination is too important - change that affiliation to REPUb today . You can change it back later after he wins the nomination if you wish . Pass it on

  • The GOP is getting EXACTLY what they voted for back in Nov 2010. A group of KKK members and supporters that traded in their white sheets/ hoods for business suits and nice hair cuts & sent them to the Repub Congress as the “Tea Party”. The TP war against Obama has begun and the first Tea Party "win" is damage to The Full Faith & Credit of the US Govnt. The TP Repubs would see our country crash and burn before they compromise with the President and do what is BEST for our country. SHAMEFUL!

  • Wasn't there just a top rated video on youtube about the fact that nobody in the Obama administration has a budget plan or has had one for his entire presidency? And then this choad Kudlow is all on my man RP's nuts about proposing a balanced budget plan... Its called END THE FED bitch, he proposed it 20 years ago

  • what does RP mean when he say just freeze the budget and give everyone the same that they had last year? Does he mean at fixed inflationary rates? Do the payments increase every year in the US to cover inflation? Some one explain please as I don't know about economics much.

  • Dodgers vs. Congress

The Dodgers (Frank McCourt's) and Congress (US) have lived way above their means. If Congress raises the debt limit shouldn't Major League Baseball allow the Dodgers raise their debt limit? Then, according to Congress, all the Dodgers have to do is raise ticket prices to fund their lifestyle? it that's how it works! More people will go to the games? Right?

  • None of this debt problem is going to be fixed ever. We will be enslaved till we all die and the globalist elite made sure of that. Those who say you need to adapt is right, but to say and do nothing, then you are allowing the globalist elite get away with robbing you blind. Like allowing a race track to be built in your city and the tax payers have to pay for it, then the man who robbed the tax payers for the race track gives his daughter 100mil $ home, is stealing....

  • 3 dislikes-Obama/Giethner/Bernanke aka scumbags

  • Raise the debt ceiling until the people can stabilize in this turbulent time, and then when the public is in a manageable position work on fixing it. Im a genius w a 4.0, a brilliant resume, and a desire to return to school, however us 30 and under who were born to families who lived check to check are in debt, and without help in an environment in which we can't complete our degrees or find substantial employment. Try living with a blue volar family for a year, and limit yourself to theirs.

  • The reporter said "I want to see a balanced budget plan on paper"

Ron Paul said --easy, pay everybody the same that you paid them last year....write that down and it will be on paper for you....LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOOLOLOOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

  • @WONDOCTORJ Yeah, that cracked me up. I wish he would have had a napkin to jot it down on. Would have been priceless.

  • ru paul for president 2012!

  • LADIES AND GENTLEMEN: I have the link to the schedule of the next GOP primary debate. Please check the link and spread the word.

  • What's this. . a politician talking sense! Naah, must be a spoof video.

  • @MrGeoMack obviously photoshopped!

  • @TomYoRu photoshop is for photos... DER!

  • Paul is just a clueless as the rest of America. It's all a monetary illusion.

  • @MrSammo1

  • The media here in NZ has been closely following these development...but not honestly. They are lying, twisting scumbags. They have articles and news updates headed by "US President Obama seeks to save the US from disaster" or "President Obama saves the US by finally managing to raise the debt limit" or "extremist Republicans selfishly hold up the bill and refuse to cooperate and reason." Man I hate the media... Ron Paul for President! From a Liberty starved and Freedom strangled Kiwi.

  • @ginjaninja1988 Not sure why the media supporting Obama is surprising. The media held him up as the savior years ago and the people that fund his campaigns are the primary share holders of the media corps. They're always going to support Obama.

In order to get a guy like Ron Paul recognized, we need to have more debates like the Iowa debate. Once people start to see Paul's vision and ideas, they'll spread. The status quo is under attack, and the corps don't like it. RON PAUL 2012.

  • @dc5bom I dont find it suprising at all really. Just damn fustrating.

  • watch?v=3jcZIq9l1LE

Ron Paul : The Preservation of Liberty

Watch it, and pass it around.

  • Larry = Jew.

We all know what this means.

  • Just freeze the budget and give everybody what they got last year .....so simple and it would finally balance sooner than later !!!!!! Well put President Paul well put !!!!!

  • Ron Paul knows what a neocon is, and he knows that the insane foreign policy of the Republican and Democratic neocons is not in the interest of the US. The neocons want cuts in Social Security and Medicare to finance unnecessary wars on the back of the American middle-class. Paul is for cuts in all of the above. In fact, he wants to eliminate them. Paul's wrong there, but he might turn out to be right on the gold standard. Gold could be the salvation of America.

  • @AnonymousEconomist Why have two huge bureaucratic systems that have turned from a voluntary to a mandatory contribution which basically is extra taxes and allow the government to put their hands in those funds to pay for their insane spending. Look to the future, both systems force a whole society to be dependent on them therefore taking any incentive away for people to save money for any emergency during their life. People need to take responsibility for their future and gold is a step forward

  • To put Ron Paul in the White House we NEED to get him more well known, he is a great person on the Internet but no media will EVER put him in the news, unless it is obviously negative attention. It is atrocious that liberty cannot be met.

  • @TorontoSportsNetwork You make a really important point. The only network I really ever see him on is CNBC, and usually thanks to Larry Kudlow, who seems to like him. Other than that, though, I rarely see him on. And it's disappointing.

  • @rsaettone234 I see him on Neil Cavuto, and freedom watch occasionally on fox, and maybe once or twice on msnbc.

  • @TorontoSportsNetwork He's actually asked his opinion a lot on the news, and not negatively.

  • @thelister4910 Lol what are you talking about? He is frowned upon by the NWO and hated, that is why he is never on the news

  • @TorontoSportsNetwork You can say that all you want, but he IS on the news. Half of his videos on youtube are him on the news. Even fox airs him. He was made fun of a lot during his last campaign, and the media totally stripped him of his chances, but don't say he is not on the news now, because he is. I see youmentioned the NWO. It's not a good idea to try to spread what you believe in while you are saying something as demonstrably wrong as him never being on the news...

  • @thelister4910 I'd have to agree with @TorontoSportsNetwork. I see Ron Paul all over the place. Where are your facts?

  • @cbrandonchapman Thanks for the support, but I think you are confused how youtube's reply system works. @TorontoSportsNetwork is not a user name, it is youtube showing that my reply is directed at TorontoSportsNetwork. The person's whose message you are reading in any post has their name at the BOTTOM of the message not at the top. Thanks though, I think lol.

  • @TorontoSportsNetwork Just look at the videos to the right, there are 4 videos in a row, starting from the second one down, with him in the NEWS in the last 4 days on 4 different networks. And you're saying: "no media will EVER put him in the news" and

"He is frowned upon by the NWO and hated, that is why he is never on the news"

I mean what's wrong with you?

  • @thelister4910 He probably meant traditionally. Traditionally Ron Paul has gotten little attention by the media, but he has gained a lot of popularity in the last three years because people have begun to realize he is right. because of that he is now being seen more often.

  • @thelister4910 Whatever, you're a fucking idiot, that is why Mitt Romney is the frontrunner and Ron Paul wasn't even heard of in the 2008 election because the media never talked about him. Maybe this time they will, I hope you're right and he is in the news more often. What is wrong with you?

  • Throw the Bankers down the well, so my people can be freeeee, and we have a big party.

  • By "freeze" does he mean the total budget? I.E. Congressional salaries, pentagon contractors, home state projects, etc?

  • @AWesome61696 "Don't f*** with general liberty, but limit liberty to fight discrimination!"

So much wrong with that statement - you should NEVER limit liberty.

  • Ron Paul is acting like a fool. He knows what the system is really about but is not playing by the rules. All he has to do is make the deal and gain massive political support so that he can make spending cuts later. Instead he seems resolute in weakening conservative America. He is in a position to over see huge change in America. His policies are not much different to the Presidents. We know it is a show but your supposed to participate.

  • Ron Paul is a national treasure. Too bad .Most of the people are morons and can't understand his 2+2=4 logic

  • I don't know why Dr.Paul is even on this show with this slimy, lying scumbag Kudlow.

Kudlow is the epitome of whats wrong with American media today.

  • Its amazing that I only hear from Ron Paul what no one else is willing to say.

  • Ron Paul gets it. Borrowing more money to pay off the debt that u already have to pay down the debt u already have. This guiy has to win the President this time. If he doesn't, we're fucked.

  • Thus another reason to vote for Ron paul in 2012,Common Sense,Common spendingUnlike Obama

  • Issues Separated

    1. Money

Our current system creates compound interest debt and not money. If one has accumulated enough lending capital to offset inflation and spending it's a good thing for everyone else it's bad.

    2. Debt

Our current debt should be defaulted on for the simple reason, I don't remember signing a promissory note.

    3. Government Services.

Government services can be paid once the first is taken care of. What stays and what goes depends on the Constitution and priorities.

  • @hiyukenmusic I agree.

  • No Mr. Paul, we don't want to stop spending we want to change the instrument from a debt currency with compound interest to a true monetary system where the Treasury prints money and backs its value with the full faith and credit of the country and not a commodity. In that case, both wars and all else can be paid and instead of creating compound interest it will create inflation. The other discussion AFTER that is about the constitutionality of those programs but paying for it is easy.

  • @hiyukenmusic I disagree. I don't want the government to have a monopoly on the issuance of currency. Money originally came out of the market, then the govt. sought to have monopoly control of money, which is a product.

I advocate competition with private mintage. Private mintage is constiutional and was commonplace before it was banned in the 1860's.

Treasury issued currency is constitutional, so I respect your position, but the state shouldn't have a monopoly.

  • @joepeeler34 If you have competing currencies you have not competition but a need for interstate commerce regulation and therefore you are right back to a big government. Let's say I am in Utah or Alaska and the free market allows for private printing of commodity backed currency. Then the boom and doom cycle will continue. Private profit seeking companies would seek to manipulate both currencies by manipulating the conversion from one to another. Pump and Dump.

  • @hiyukenmusic I disagree again. It should be understood that "interstate commery..make regular" was designed to prevent states from putting tariffs on trade from other states. "Regulate" meant to make commerce regular. The govt. has twisted the meaning and intent of that clause.

Boom and Bust is cause by excessive credit creation. Gold and silver can't be created out of thin air. Fractional reserve banking and central planning of interest rates cause credit bubbles, not private mintage.

  • @joepeeler34 Quit regurgitating shit you hear on Freedom Watch.

  • @hiyukenmusic Maybe you get your understanding of the world from news shows, but I get mine from a great deal of reading of economists and philosophers. Have you read one word of classical or Austrian school economists? When you have, perhaps we can have and intelligent discussion.

I have no use for food fights or anti-intellectualism.

  • @joepeeler34 I agree. That makes sense.

  • @joepeeler34 Gold and silver are limited however.

  • @SpraxIAKS They are finite, which is why they are good money. You are making a quantity fallacy of money. You understand that if you alone have more money, you have more purchasing power, but if everyone's money supply expands the same, prices just rise.

The money supply is irrelevant beyond a minimum threshold. Prices will adjust to the money (precious metal) supply. Prices tend to fall gently when money is a precious metal. Money is just a measure.

  • @joepeeler34 But still we can only take so much from the planet which may or may not have harmful consequences?

  • @joepeeler34 But still we can only take so much from the planet which may or may not have harmful consequences?

  • @SpraxIAKS What's the planet going to do with it? If a resource becomes depleted, prices rise and people consume less of it. Substitutes and alternatives must be found at that point.

I have been listening to Malthusian claims about end of resources since I can remember. The predictions are older than the hills. The Earth is one gigantic natural resources with many of these resources renewable. I have great faith in human ingenuity, etc. What I don't have faith in is central planning by govt.'s.

  • @joepeeler34 True, but you are speaking Free Market Economics, and we are in a Keynesian-driven system (CAIN-Z-N). If you have disciples of Keynesian belief, whose whole ethical-foundation is based on a "reject-your reality-and-substitute-it-with-my-own" principal.

It's hard to win an argument w/ someone like that.

Free Market= Free Market. Keynesian (CAIN-Z-N)= a bunch of rich illusionists central-ecnomically planning how you live.

And FME won't kill it's brother, Siskels!

  • @joepeeler34 yea but there isn't enough Gold and Silver to go around. So it's alot easier to make money out of paper and give those to people. Please remember that our population is also increasing it's not what it was with our founding father. Times are changing and we can't cling to old ways....Plus whos gonna make us pay??? lol We run the world!

  • @sonicxx85 Sure there is. Prices will adjust to the money supply. It's true that your nominal wages will be lower in price, but everything you buy when be much lower in price. It's relative. The point of competition and precious metal money is that it can't be debased. Price inflation/dollar debasement is a stealth tax.

Most of the money supply isn't paper (only 4%). Most of it is accounting/digital money inside the banking system.

"Cling to old ways?" We have paper money now, I want change.

  • @hiyukenmusic continued....

The Constitution stipulates that only gold and silver be money. The Constitution says to "COIN" money and regulate the value thereof, and it refers to "weights and measures." Those phrases make no sense for paper money.

"Full faith and credit" is what we have now. I don't want money that is reliant of faith. Money should be a commodity/precious metal with a value other than monetary uses.

Search for "Money, Banking and the Federal Reserve" on YouTube.

  • @hiyukenmusic The word monopoly doesn't apply to a government ....more specifically a constitutional republic because that which is owned by the government is owed by the people. We have private creation of money now. It is created by the Federal Reserve just with interest. Print the money in accordance with the rate of population growth and spend that money into the economy at the bottom. Government services and their costs are irrelevant to a sovereign nation who can print its own money.

  • taxes r just away to get back some of the money we gave to the rich. I say fuck that, quit giving the rich money all together. those lazy fucks want to whine about us demanding some of our money back? we should never have giving it to them in the first place. Fuck the irch, if u want to earn get a job. End corporatism, end the fed, rebuild the american economy. Capitalism is getting the most out of u're money, product, or services. Not giving lazy fucks more and more money.

  • Curly (Obama), Larry (Boehner) and Moe (Reid) have no clue. Stop all spending on foreign aid (57 Billion), cut all budgets by 10%, close tax holes that let GE that earned 14 billion last year and paid zero in taxes, cut all benefits to illegals, end the three wars and close the 1,000 bases around the world. End giving 400 million to Islamic countries to build mosques. They do not not believe in freedom of religion. The list goes on you three stooges and America remembers in 2010, recycle them.

  • If you are as sick and tired of inflated prices of food, gasoline and other needed goods, then please understand that once government approves inflating the deficit with more money created from thin air, more inflation will follow. This is economic law and is indisputable. Ron understands this and is trying to help US to understand it as well.

I carry a 1923 silver dollar, a 1971 counterfeit dollar, and a new "Golden" dollar coin to show and educate people on how our dollar has been devalued!

  • real easy cut defense and cut off the wealthies 5% of Americans from collecting Social security and medicare. Cut off all people under 40 years today. they have 20 years to plan. Since Ronald Regan is the icon of conservative and less taxes go back to his rates - a boatload of new revenue will come in. Gut our present rip-off healthcare system that is sodimizing the nation and rebuild it from scratch. We love India so much and ship off all of our work to it so bring their health care in.
