i love this game but i dont think if the correct name should be "splinter cell" because the famous "splinter cell" is a spy game not a game that you cant hide bodys or chose the weapon, this is more like a call of duty in stealch missions.

@victigr Actually it was going to be much more superior to Ass Creed because it wasn't as dumbed down initially. So Ubisoft was afraid it will ruin AC sales being an actual free-roam game with a freeform gameplay (unlike AC's desync corridors and scripted assassinations). Thus it was quickly butchered to become a yet another cover shooter.

I have always been a Splinter Cell fan from game one. I really hope the stealth will come back, and the old "feeling". I remember from the first one where I threw tin cans at the enemies, and the CLASSIC talking between them. "I think I see something! You always see something. But this time Im sure!" And then I threw a glass bottle to distract them. It was more of a behind enemy lines exiting game, and if a guard came towards you without you knowing... you where screwed. Now you just knock 'em.

I thought the 2007 version was more of a breakthrough, you had more rouge like options and a bit more stealthier assassin based gameplay, and the combat was much more realistic based and even thought it was less brutal you still got to fling people into things. the gunsfights yeah but the splinter cell franchise was about stealt where as conviction it was near impossible to avoid a gunfight. Tom Clancy, what have you done?

unfortunatly you cant get this game from a modded xbox dear children it just isnt possible. demos are made with same software but do not have any real connection to the game itself. on computer it does and you can easily crack its code for the full game but not for xbox 360. they only know this because of the new trailers.

So maybe they might have this in the begining, like and updated version, like he's being persued, but then you get into the newer verison you see nowadays, then again probably not cause none of the newer trailers show anything like that... then again it's just a hunch :P, just find it weird why gamestops keep put those old pics up sam up

@2009zbp I agree, at the time I was like "Whoa this looks cool!" But After I played the current Conviction, and went back to watch this, It looks lame. If people hate the current conviction, they'd definitely hate this, wouldn't fit IMO
