the Quran maintains that the books of the Jews and Christians have been corrupted, altered and edited over time. When the Quran talks about the Torah, Psalms and the Gospel it is speaking about the original versions given to Moses, David and Jesus. It is not talking about the current Torah, Psalms and the Four Canonical Gospels we have today.

The "lying pen of the scribes" is guilty not of changing the text of the law, but of false application of it. They are giving the wrong interpreation out of personal greed. In effect, Jeremiah says that they don't "have" the Law because they don't KEEP the Law. It is not the physical presence of the Law or of the Temple that will avert G-d's wrath, but only obedience to his word. They did not corrupt the physical text of it, but they "handled" it falsely as 8:8 says.

Therefore the Son of the Father of all fathers is of far greater value - the ultimate sacrifice for God to make and humanity could never match this level of sacrifice for sin. See, this is what I'm talking about. People make assertions, statements, etc... and they NEVER EVEN CHECK TO SEE IF WHAT THEY ARE SAYING IS TRUE!!!!!!!!!!! You guys need to do your research. FYI- there are more sayings of Jesus in the Quran than there are in the Bible, and there's a whole chapter on Mary. and over half the Bible was written by Paul, who was a prosecutor of the followers of Christ. and one more thing, what abou the people before Christ. do they go to Hell. and what about Moses. he prayed to Jesus, he prayed to one Almighty God. does that make Adam a greater God, bcuz he was born of neither man/woman.

Paul wrote half the Bible? No, not true. Paul only wrote some portions of the New Testament. He was a persecutor of the Christians who became saved. How can we judge Paul? There is not one good but God. Jesus saved Him a sinner and made Him suffer for Him. 2.)People before Christ? God accounted righteousness to Abraham by virtue of faith (Genesis 15:16). We all know about the rock and Isaac his son. Adam greater than God? You make no sense on that one.

Paul wrote a few potions of the NT. Great, then why do you feel insulted when we said that the Bible was corrupted? Editing and adding new texts aer considered as Corrupting Holy Book. Perhaps the Bible has much lower standard...if it is not more than half of the Bible, then it is not yet "corrupted".

As for the Quran alaearbi, it is written that the Mark of the Beast is 666. Every Moslem knows that number is Islam's holy number. If you call beheading people that don't believe what you believe to be holy and good, then God help you. The Quran and Islam are from the Father of Lies, the murder, who is the devil. Inside the Abomination of Desolation standing in the Holy place it is written: "...god forbid he have a son..." Sounds like something Satan would say, huh?
