hey man im sorry that happened, i was at summit point today actually in my orange 07 gt and i remembered this video, it was my first time at a real track and it started raining really bad, and i messed up RIGHT where you did so i remembered your video, i just spun at about a 190 or so degrees and then spun the wheel so we would go in the grass and not hit anyone, but ive no idea how yours got flipped thats really sad, how much was it to get fixed?
Wow, that sucks.Glad you two were ok. This video really demonstrates why good helmets are a must. I just drove my 2011 GT at an SCCA PDX at Summit yesterday (still has 30day tags). It was my first track day so I took it easy, but came close to scaring myself a couple of times. Turn 9 is fast.
Damn that sucks, looks like you stayed in the gas a bit too long after the the rear lost grip. I dunno I think you could have saved it backing out of the gas.
Glad everyone is ok. That was a nasty roll. I really credit you both for asking "are you ok" right after the car stopped. Gotta look out for your fellow man :)
That's probably the most common way to have a bad wreck, catching a slide only to have the car snap back the other way. Happens to the best in the world sometimes.

Glad to hear you got away without damage! My car was a total loss, but I replaced it with a nearly identical one.

Dang, real heart break. It sounds like you were off the throttle when the slide began.
Running street tires or R compound? (maybe street rubber got a little greasy?)

That's probably the most common way to have a bad wreck, catching a slide only to have the car snap back the other way. Happens to the best in the world sometimes.
