there is no fault - the version of system software you are running i am guessing is not the latest - the later software (OS) runs faster. because blackberry software is allways abit slow you really have to give the software time to read the accelerometer as it is not read 'live' its read every few seconds - unless you are playing a motion game - even then its slow!

actually an iphone and blackberry are two different things. an Iphone can not multitask, a blackberry is more for other things...an iphone is good for....games and music.  you can remove and replace or put an extended battery in a bb but you cant do that with an iphone. i checked out the iphone and i didnt like it at all and i usually like appleware stuff. an iphone is more for the youth. i wouldnt get the storm either. i dont like touch screen typing anyways. best phone is bb tour

i guess you can apply the same argument to the 360/ps3. Not getting into a console wars, the 360 had 2 years over the ps3 so you have to take that into account before shooting it down.

just give the berry some time and it may make a decent comeback.

I got mine last week and it's great. Much better than the iPhone in my opinion because in the UK, the O2 network that the iPhone runs on is forever getting harshed by server issues and such, whereas i've been on Vodafone with 3G phones since they first came out and they seem to have better response times and less network traffic problems. All in all, a brilliant phone and if you've thought about getting one, then do it! :)

when you get on the internet make sure you close all the pages. you cant just back out into the main menu because it WILL slow down your phone and screw up the accelerameter

you get the upgrades on your storm

go to the menu, then options, then advanced options, then wireless upgrade... then just follow the on screen prompts. If it says there is no upgrade then you more than likely have the most recent one.
