i went to that game for my 19th birthday. that was as loud as i ever heard the meadowlands whether i watched the game on tv or went to the game. i think ozolinsh got scared and that is why he put the puck in his own net.

I was also at this game. About 6 seats away from Bettman who smiled everytime the Devils took a penalty. When Madden scored, the place erupted. You can't fathom how loud it was unless you were there. It was amazing.

The great thing was is that Rangers fans all over the area were saying how they were going to "take over" the CAA. It was about 85% Devils fans/15% Rangers fans at Game 2, so much for that "True Bluers". And after the Madden goal the area seemed to get 15% empty. The CAA was electric that night.
