  • Your layout is 13by 16 what would that be if i did the same layout in n scale size?

  • @gearjammerable It would be about 50% of that around 7x8, but you would have to compensate for the aisles. You could just shrink it down and expect to be able to walk into the aisles. I have a XtrkCAD file for it in HO. Maybe print it out and cut it up with scissors and fool around with the configuration a bit. Or do the same thing in the CAD program, Whatever is easier.

  • That's the coolest layout I've ever seen

  • great layouy what size is it?

  • 13-1/2ft x 16ft

  • buying the turnouts is the most devastating part lol they pack a hard punch on the wallet i spent over 200 dollars on track in a couple weeks great job on the layout !

  • My cordless drill would have a heart attack just lookin at that.....nice layout....gotta see some more recent stuff......

  • may i just ask not meaning to be rude where di u get the money for this?

  • I sell drugs... isn't that where everyone gets their money from? ;-) Only kidding. Just like everyone else you buy the items over a long period of time. Spread the expense out. I also looked on the web for the cheapest possible prices, especially on the track. Alot of the lumber was free or leftovers from other projects.

    Can you say "Frugal"?

  • Now, that's a sharp beginning! Very nice....if I may ask, what are the dimensions of the layout, and how did you blueprint it?

  • The layout is 13'x16'. I used Xtrkcad to design and print out the plan. It has an option to print it 1:1 scale... very handy.

  • wow.
