@gearjammerable It would be about 50% of that around 7x8, but you would have to compensate for the aisles. You could just shrink it down and expect to be able to walk into the aisles. I have a XtrkCAD file for it in HO. Maybe print it out and cut it up with scissors and fool around with the configuration a bit. Or do the same thing in the CAD program, Whatever is easier.
buying the turnouts is the most devastating part lol they pack a hard punch on the wallet i spent over 200 dollars on track in a couple weeks great job on the layout !
I sell drugs... isn't that where everyone gets their money from? ;-) Only kidding. Just like everyone else you buy the items over a long period of time. Spread the expense out. I also looked on the web for the cheapest possible prices, especially on the track. Alot of the lumber was free or leftovers from other projects.
Your layout is 13by 16 what would that be if i did the same layout in n scale size?

Now, that's a sharp beginning! Very nice....if I may ask, what are the dimensions of the layout, and how did you blueprint it?

The layout is 13'x16'. I used Xtrkcad to design and print out the plan. It has an option to print it 1:1 scale... very handy.
