Sounds like they've either translated the script from japanese directly without correcting the grammtics, or else they've used japanese voice actors who have only had like a week to learn english... Or maybe both.

I remember playing this game and always saying it's better than RE1 but not quite as good as RE2...I had to use an online strategy guide due to the japanese...yes it's not much and it's fairly easy to work around, but I want to know EXACTLY what everything said...I do recall a few moments being tense, tho i don't recall any moments I blatantly got scared...great game ( for it's time) I must say

the soundtrack is Kenji Kawai at his best of his art, with the "Ghost in the shell" soundtrack and also "Avalon" and "the Ring" .

Too bad just a few of them have played this game on Sega Saturn

@1shoryuken Yes, music score was made from Kenji Kawai, it's awesome! This game also had excelent FMV vids. It's a nice game, it was the last PAL game to ever be released for Saturn. I still have an original copy of it. It's cool but the only problem is that there's only one way till the end. You pass it once, and you've seen it all.

I'm almost completely certain this was the same voice actor that did Wesker in RE1, yeah.

I still have my copy of this game! :D Poor voice acting and fairly limited gameplay, but in terms of atmosphere, music and cinematic presentation this one really made a big impact on me. I think only Panzer Dragoon Saga had superior FMVs to this.

It must be. The game never got officially released in the US because the Sega Saturn was very unpopular in that country.

THis was a good game, the only problem with this game it's the fact it is easy and only has one possible way of beating it... Unlike Resident evil or Silent hill... oh and only has one possible ending... play it on SFF emulator, runs perfectly!

U know I bought Carrier for the Dreamcast & the bastard didn't wanna work. Never got past the company logos. I was hella mad. Seems like a used Dreamcast game has to be in perfect condition, otherwise it's like settin' yourself up for failure.

It's a good game, one of them love to hate titles, like blue stinger, but amazing feeling when playing - proper nostalga.

I still have this game, it tried to ride on RE's coatails, everything about it fell short except for one thing, the story. In RE 2 when you start a new game you will already know why there are zombies all over the place, but here you won't know why until you fight the final boss, and when you do it will catch you off guard. Here's a hint the source of the problem is the most out of place thing in the whole game.

I saw this game in a magazine when I was a kid and thought it looked cool. Now I own it but haven´t used it since it´s a new and sealed copy in PAL (not too many of those left prolly).

Never imagined it would look this cool though. Also, I never imagined it would be on par with the original R.E. voiceacting. It´s obviously worth getting a duplicate for the dialogue alone:).
