Realized that Carter Beauford was hands down about as good as a drummer can be, then that the bassist could freaking play too, then that daves voice soothes my soul. id give anything to sit in a studio with these guys and watch them make this stuff

One of the greatest examples of great music is the ability to play the same song , when necessary,differently according to the venue,atmosphere and energy exhchanged between the musicians. I've said it before and I'll say it again; the DMB is one of the absolute greatest bands, especially in live performances , that we could or would EVER witness. Pure Musicianship, personified!

Jeff Coffin straight takes over this song and makes it one of the top 2 or 3 #41 if not THE best #41 I've heard.

I love their sound lately. Coffin's *hot* sax style, Ross adding some needed brass, and Reynolds on electric guitar. It's definitely a big change from "Under the Table and Dreaming" and "Crash".

And IMHO, the best solo ever made in this music is the one from Europe CD, also in my videos (just the sax solo). The new version from Live at Wrigley Field (also in my videos) it's a great version too!

Jeff Coffin does rock out though! i'm glad the band found someone so they can keep playing and making music.

LeRoi was great at this kind of funk stuff, but he really shined on the quiet solos when he was sort of whispering. Jeff, on the other hand, lives for this high energy, fast-paced groovy stuff.

Wow. Geez. Wow. This is one of the best performances of this song I've ever seen, well one of the best performances of any song at that. The musicality between Beauford and Coffin is completely unbelievable, and outright amazing. Even if you muted the sound you can just feel the music between them by watching, but don't mute it, there is not one second of this performance worth missing!
