It's kind of endearing that he really has never gotten why human women react to him as they do. 100 years and he's just now getting it and is happy if that is why Bella's heart reacts like it does. lol It should be a song, "Waking Up Lover!" lol

He hadn't had enough time with her so he drags her along and it's cute that he accepts that even had she been walking forward she migh trip anyway. lol He's starting to get her and her quirks!! Even without being able to read her mind. And they have so much in common despite one being a vampire. :) And he's practicing to not kill her. @enchantedmistress06 Just because you're older doesn't mean you're dead. You still appreciate beauty and it doesn't mean you're a pervert. Things just don't turn off. I've been in love with the same man for 39 years but he isn't the only handsome man on the planet. When you're older, you'll understand. And Mrs. Cope did chide herself for her feelings. I think Robert Pattinson is handsome but our children are much younger. It doesn't mean I think anything wrong about him. He's a kid to me.

This is kind the opposite of what was said by Edward in the restaurant in Port Angeles, when he said he didn't realize that he had dazzled the waitress. So this is a bit odd that he uses his considerable charms on the ladies he comes in contact with.

He can't help but be proud of himself. E the playboy. lol It's an impressive statement that Steph writes this girl as non-makeup. He loves her for what she is without the adornments that some girls think important. Make-up is a mask. If women think they aren't worth anything without makeup then that's a sad thing.

He sees the integrity of Bella. . a 17 year old girl that is older than most human girls. Bella is beautiful in her own right and doesn't get it because she's her own person. Something for you young girls to think of. Just be yourselves and you will like it. When you try to be what others expect, you won't be happy with yourselves. It's the moral of this story. E knows he's built to appeal and he wants B to accept him for himself, not the outside of him. He loves her independence. Think.
