Every state is different. and every states pay scale is different. Same with the actual dental office. That particular dental office you might want to work in, might require different skills. The only way to really know what your getting into is to do your own research.
Hey peeps. I just got an email from West Coast University. They just opened a Dental Hygiene program there. It starts April and its a 33 months program. And they let you do your pre-requisites and other general classes while you are in the program. You would save a lot of time.
I am a dental assistant and I want to go to school for dental hygiene but I can't stop working and go to school full time.:(

no you will have to complete your high school first and then 2 years of college and then 4 years in dental school

You only have to go to college up to two years, obviously if you do well, not 4-6 for a Dental Hygienist.
