Haha it renders everything at a higher resolution and then downscales it, it smooths out edges but usually costs a fair bit of performance..

I read your discription.. It is quite odd, because I use to run L4D @ 130FPS on an HD4650 all max.

Now it seems it is locked @ 60-65FPS.. the GTS250 blows the 4650 out of the sky and is still running the same frame rate without recording.. I'm going to research it must be coded to max out 60FPS.

as far as i know anti aliasing makes the game more smooth no rough edges on guns or players.......if u have a decent screen res i wouldnt bother useing anti alising just lowers frame rates down

well, if you record at let's say: 300 fps, you could devide that by 5, and get 5x slower video, with 60 fps. tho 30 fps is decent, you could half that again, to get even more "bullet-time" in your video :P

Its not an AMAZING game (far cry 2 we are talking about just to be clear) but its not a crappy game either. Its in the middle. I think I will buy both of em tho, they both look sweet

You do know that you can get better FPS if you disable AA? Nvidia cards run better without AA and provide a much better performance.
