Much love brother. I have been on the oxy rollercoaster ride for about 2 years now. As usual I am running out way early and coming to grips with going through the withdrawals yet again. I wish I would have never seen a 15mg oxycodone pill. I too am going to rid myself of this ball and chain, tired of the withdrawals and am too weak to follow dosage but then again not many can.Take care bro.

@shadylo sadly, you're 100% correct. All these methadones and suboxone drugs just delay the withdrawals until you decide you dont want to take them anymore. I wish i would have done it cold turkey and i wouldnt still be on suboxone 4 years after my last use. Kinda wierd how 2 mgs of suboxone gives me the same WD severity as if i were still doing 160mgs of oxy or MS everyday.

So can someone please tell me if im about to try and get clean, and i use xanax during this time, and i have no tolerence to xanax because i dont ever use it, will it still knock me out when i take it and will i be able to sleep? Especially if I smoke alot of really good pot with it and also eat edibles (weed brownies, weed cookies, weed peanutbutter cups, weed candy etc)? I tried xanax when i first was trying pills and it put my dick in the dirt back then, will it still knock me out if im sick

I've stopped taking methadone completely now. It was easier than I feared, but of course there are big individual differences. For some it will be a lot harder, of course. Hang in there, by the way!:)

Thanks brother... I am on Day 3 of a very heavy Percocet addiction. I can relate so well to so many things you said. I know this is an old video but yeah with methadone if you aren't in the middle of full withdrawal and you take sub it will kick up the withdrawals like 10x worse. Still watching the videos haven't got to the last one yet so hope your still doing well.

Hi all, I too am an opiate addict. I was using IV heroin everyday for over 4 years. I got on suboxone at first without insurance and had to pay $7 per pill for 90 pills per month plus Dr. fees, which was more than $600 a month just to stay clean. I've since gotten great insurance which allows me to get all my suboxone for free and I have a lot of extra suboxone scripts left over. i was using IV hydromorphone(dilaudid) for 4 years straight. 4's and 8's. withdrawal was intense but brief. after comin out the other end i felt in control again n started using again. ended up on methadone 50mg daily for 2 years. I kicked it cold turkey and used oxycontin and dilaudid to get off the methadone. ppl dont know what withdrawal is until youve kicked methadone. i climbed walls and shredded beddings. it was absolutely savage. i am now 100% opiate/opioid-free. its possible. just apply.

@turbofanman1 I totally disagree, methadone is by far more drawn out, BUT, for actual pain, and for gruelling intense hell and withdrawal, I think OxyContins and Ultrams take the CAKE. Anf I mean the trammies AFTER you are physically dependant. Methaone is mild if you wean it, and it is the easiest of all the opiates to wean, being it is so damn flat.

Everyday I spent at that fucking clinic I grew less and less respect for the doctors....started seeing them as just the same as the drug pushers standing outside the building. through my experiences with detox its always best to find a relive or somebody you trust even a pharmacist will help ya tapering down method you might have to go to the pharmacy everyday but you know as well as i do when starting detox and the cravings kick in there is like no will power left unless its not there in front of you to take. its never a good idea to go cold turkey but a lot of doctors do it though. there was over 30 doctors busted in okc for not following the rules last week.

i can remember a time about 7 years ago that my doctor had me on 80 mgs of oxy four times a day. and percoset 10 about 4 to 6 times a day. then he died. i couldnt get into a new doctor for over a month. so i detoxed myself at home. and was new to the process. it was hell now. i never prayed so much in all my life. then after about 14 days it started getting easier. i swore then if i ever had to take meds again i would take the bare minumum. and i have for 7 years. withdrawels are the worst.

no i did it myself . back then nobody took oxy unless you had cancer or was dying so when my doctor died it took over a month to get into a new one and i went through the entire process by myself. since then ive not let myself get that bad again. oxy detox and xanax and fentanyl patches is the worst they say. i guess xanaxs are the worst because you have seizures with them for weeks or even months they say. i dont touch them. thanks for commenting. p.s i suggest tapering down with help.

i went to the hosptial and they gave me a patch that last 7 days that take away cold.hot sweats and some aches and they gave me Benzos. Xanax, Lorazempem(ativon) are huge for going threw W.D. they gave me it at hospital and a 5 day scrpt after. jus suck it up and dont use Suboxone or Methadone. they do help but u will WD a little for atl east a day or 2 to even if u taper ur does down to little and remeber do it for YOU ... i was never happier now that im free!!! no bein sick ever!!!

I think you can if you have enough will power, but I think having another pill like Xanax, Librium, or Clonidine will really be helpful during the withdrawl process. It just calms you down so you won't have the "Oh my God I'm going to die" freak outs. They also help with the Insomnia, without it, it will be harder to sleep. The good thing about Clonidine is it lowers your blood pressure and aswell as the Xanax and Librium you feel more calm.

Suboxone is very helpful. you are supposed to start suboxone when you are withdrawing; runny nose, watery eyes, leg pain you know the symptomes. The good thing about suboxone is it takes away your pains it is better than methadone because methadone fills all of your opiant receptors which gets you high. Suboxone fills half of the recepters so it doesn' get you high but it makes you feel much better than having nothing. Then you end up weening down. there is also a drug naltrexon-blocks them

On my 3rd day of withdrawl I was looking for doctors thare were licensed to prescribe it but for some reason they werent willing to help me out. They actually told me just go to the emergency room. The doctors I talked to had very little compassion for me. I have a great doctor now, he has me call him every other day to give him a progress report. He's actually a doctor who cares.
