Apocalyptic prophecy sells books. Perhaps he is unwittingly or purposefully pushing the "predictive programming" scripts to Armageddon. He has some good insights but he hints at the superstitious beliefs having some basis in reality. This causes confusion in the minds of people and keeps them grasping at those dead ends. The opposite of superstition is not another superstition, it's philosophy. So many slip into the atheist superstition when they see the religious lies for what they are.
