i have to agree that david tennant is the best doctor yet. so sad he's quitting. great pics!

um... as far as I've heard (and that's up till after the 2010 season, i think) he's not quitting.

Where did you hear he was? OR do you mean after that, because that's supposed to be still undecided.

Then again, in Canada, we get backwash so... :)

i dunno, in a newspaper or something. they said maybe after the end of the 2009 series and there is a whole list of people considered and he said he would never rule out a female doctor sometime in the future. but i don't think there was anything 100% confirmed. but i dunno, australia isn't much better for news coverage. i don't know if it was a rumour though, or him actuallly officially saying it.

I've looked around and, yes, apperantly he'd leaving but he said he wouldn't rule out coming back

that i could see but a girl doctor? I don't think that would work. He may not have an established body but i think his gender should remain consistent, don't you think?

i guess it would be strange if it was a girl, but then, the show is always changing, so i guess you never rule it out. might be interesting, but i do prefer a male doctor.

he's not -quitting- yet, he's filming the next years specials, (there are going to be 6 of them), and then he's going to let it go. They have another doctor picked out, and he's ready to move on. He said it was his favorite project he's ever worked on though, and it will be rivaled by none. Best doctor ever, imo. He fits my personality though, that's why.

they didn't announce it yet, but I've been waiting for it. I'm definitely going to miss him. I'll comment back to this if I find out or something. Or just message you on here.
