C-130 with the Efa mod. So you can fly all aircrafts.

Soldiers can be placed virtually anywhere with the mission editor.

DCS is pretty much the same world, BUT, in DCS you fly only one type of aircraft which is modelled with great accuracy. Avionics, flight model, working switches in the 3d cockpit etc. In Lock On you can fly multiple aircrafts but the planes are somewhat simplified to use.

I dont understand how you are achieving these graphics!? I have a gaming machine that runs games like Arma II and even FSX at thier highest settings and i always get outstanding results.. yet Lock on turns my system into a nervous wreck!? Im lucky if my fps exceeds 10 when im on or near the ground, and thats even on medium settings?

@Xeno426 Yeah! I suppose you are familiar with the story of guy who tried to make MiG-21 in LOFC 2. He ask them to open code for him and he will add a MiG-21...they refused! At the end he make it somehow...The thing is that the guys from ED are very bad businessman's, they don't know how to attract an audience. And the game itself always has some glitches.

The problem right now is that you can only add new aircraft by replacing old ones, and even then you are stuck using the replaced aircraft's flight model. In the end, it all ends up just being a cosmetic change.

Just wanted to poke my head in and say that "this" is the best pc/console simulator type tribute that I have EVER seen. Absolutely fantastic. I was once an avid movie maker myself and without trying to sound like a "know it all" .... you sir are very good!!

Ah okay, I don't own Arma 2 or any expansion packs. I tried the demo and with my HD5770 it is not possible to maximize graphics settings, therefor not worth to create video's with it.

I think with your videos i have seen would catch the eyes of Bohemia if you summited it to them. You ought to give combined ops the full game a shot you will be surpised. I haved to say from all the videos i've seen on here this video tops the chart its the best one of them all. I hope you make more of them in high quality hd. I have this game but are having a challenge with all the key commands. Is there a difference in terrain from flaming cliffs 2 to the new A-10 Warhog. My friend has it but something is stopping me from buying it on steam. I fly mostly on fsx but love military flight Sims. I play most of my Mil sims on arma 2 combined operations.

I'm having a hard time believing the camera angles aren't modded. LOMAC's cameras were always unpredictable, jerky, and touchy for me--not to mention panning isn't possible in-game.
