  • The version of 'Lost Horizons' that he is playing in this interview, which he started in part one, is undeniably one of his most remarkable and an absolute favorite of mine. Pay special attention to his phrasing, articulation and that sensational left-hand vibrato he always employs. Particular special merit should be given from ~ 2:07 to 2:51 which happens to occur over the interviews ending title credits.

  • I believe Michael spends time between homes in London and Germany these days.

    I think he still has a company called Gott Records in London.

  • Michael spent time in the UK early in his career with UFO...therefore lending to his english accent,,,,this is his voice....Ive heared other interviews with him before...To My knowledge he currently resides here in Phoenix Ariz.

  • this is such great footage, axe. Thank you for posting this, truly one of the best guitarists ever.

  • @steveski36 thank you for comment,I do agree with you!;

  • love the guy - worshipped him as a kid...but what a waste......wrecked his own career....tnx axer

  • I haven`t seen this, only the first, great.

    He is the best!

    Thnx!!!

  • thnx for watching!

  • Michael DOES live in the UK now, so maybe it's rubbing off on him? Who knows? I love the heavy German accent better, lol! GOD, I LOVE this man!

  • I'm a HUGE UFO/MS fan and I want to thank you for all your great clips!!! I just bought a Fernandes-Burny FV-95MS (gibson clone) to go along with my Dean MS Custom!!!

  • Your welcome & thanx for watching & I'm glad there are still many old MS fans out there & the new ones because he truly is one of the few left from the past guitar Gods,I still have my Fernandez MSV that I bought back in early '80's BTW,thnx again for watching!

  • IS MICHAEL TRYING TO SOUND "ENGLISH" OR WAS HIS VOICE DUBBED FOR THE INTERVIEW?

    i'VE HEARD HIM SPEAK A THOUSAND TIMES BUT NEVER WITH A BRITHISH ACCENT

  • well, this was around 1980,so he was still learning English & I'm sure the english he was learning was British after all, thnx for watching!

  • It definitely sounds dubbed - doesnt sound like Michael - sounds more like Nigel Tufnell from Spinal Tap

  • @rockypst ...yeah... i was surprised by the good quality of his accent...

  • cool, thanks
