They should put air physics in LBP 2. I mean, imagine the ENDLESS possibilities you could have. In this game you can't make a vehicle fly too well (damn, I spent 6 hours fine tuning the rockets on my Snow White Hovercraft and it was no use.) ; at least change the game engine to support helicopters and moving vehicles with spinning blades. It's not that hard (if Bad Company has it why not this game too? :) )

Anyway it's a great game, and if you haven't bought it yet, go do it.

But that would be cheating. This game is all about imagination and creativity. Putting real water and air physics in the game would be just original. They want us the create from scratch.

Yeah but for example you can't make a vehicle with a veil and a fan on the other side. That's what I'm trying to tell you. If the air and water isn't in the game engine, you can't work on it or build it from scratch. I'm just saying it would be more useful having air in the game (then a helicopter would act as one, not just look like one but work with wheels). But I guess you do have a point as well. You can always use a rope to make the vehicle seem to fly :)

Well in this video it showed a helicopter which clearly did not need a rope to fly... Its just about imagination... For example, go on my channel and watch the LBP video in my favoutires. It is the most recent one I added, Its called: "LittleBigPlanet Surfing with Waves Level". It won't let me post the link on here so yeah whatch that and you will see a perfect example of not even needing water for example.

I know you don't need water. But I am a little pissed off because I spent several hours fine tuning the engines on a hovercraft , and they are either too slow or too powerful (making the vehicle flip over and go into the skies). You can't make an object float without grabbing and letting go of a switch to keep it in balance. :)

If I were you I would put a load on the bottom and then a few on the back. Make the back ones more powerful and the bottom ones less powerful. Did you try that? It could work but would need a lot of presition to do.

Only 6 engines work at a single time (though I tried it only on one single plan) and I'm trying to make the vehicle float smooth. But the rocket itself is constructed around the fact that it needs to propel things, not sustain movement. If a fan was in the game, you could make it hover. But with the rockets it's either the ground or the sky. No matter how hard you try.

Oh ok fair enough. I don't have the game yet, I didn't know you could only use 6 at a time. You can always make a catapult! No rockets needed and only your Sackboy flys! Lol.

I did make a level called Launch A Sackboy Survival which is about you getting launched by a cannon and trying to stay in the air for as long as possible and collecting prize bubbles without hitting any explosives or falling into the fire. But an idiot (my friend) rated it 2 stars in a "friendly" fashion and now no one plays it anymore.

so how do you "lose" in this game? i've seen alot of cool sort of levels, but none of them ever involve losing, its like every level is just a little "look what i made" because its a puzzle, but there is no way to actually lose...

on the game you get a check point and so many lives with it depending on the check point so every check point you get to gives you more lives

I'm controlling both of them, it allows me to give a really wide camera angle so you can see the whole thing, then once I want to fly it i just pop that controller down. Hope that answers the question OK for you!

yeah if you go full throttle it will level out and then slowly tip back, eventually sending you backwards
