What is said about the quietness is very true, this is my first helmet (PO gave it to me) of my first street bike, I had always heard about guys wearing ear plugs to quiet things down but was a little confused to find that it really isn't loud at all.
Now I know this is primarily due to the helmet itself.
just one question if u could answer me please? how does this helmet compare to the AGV GP-TECH ? it stands between these two.. but this helmet i can got alot cheaper also.. so.. what do u think? i would appreciate it if u could give me ur opunion =D
@m3g1 Both are very good helmets. Personally really like the Shark RSR2 helmets, always have. Given the close out prices I would go the Shark over the AGV
Hi Brian I've got shark rsx crash helmet and after 1 full year with this lid I've discovered that the crash helmet is more noisy than at the beginning any tips why? Is this rsr2 model less noisy end how this lid compare to arai chaser cheers
I've used Arai RX7, Caburg, ? & Shark on both race tracks and roads. For fit and feel, I know the shark is the best but with crash protection after a crash. The Arai was the worst becaue it gave me slite consusion where the helmet tfansfered the impact to my skull. Have you ever heard of this before?
I purchased a RSR2 as my first helmet 2 days ago! I personally am so impressed with it, i do not want to purchase another brand. I am giving it 10/10.
My head is 58cm, so a medium was an obvious fit, plus i liked the overall shape of the helmet. I walked around in it for 5 minutes and was nice! Im just a bit skeptical on its "coolness" in summer regarding airflow. Brian mentioned it as not as "flowy" but still adequate? Oh yes Brian can i order off you since i'm in Australia? I love the DuHamel White.
Thanks, i'm going to try a medium and modify it a little if necessary. I'm 59cm which puts me in a large according to everyones scale, but they never feel as snug as they should. Problem is my head is big, but my face is thin.
Yeah my suggestion would be to get a medium too, because eventually it should mould to your face etc. My head is sorta oval-ish but im sure it would fit you nice. I'm trying to get the DuHamel white but looks hard to get in Australia.
Hi Brian. How is this lid like in summer? It's approaching summer here in Australia, and i tried on a medium and was a perfect fit. I'm certainly in love with it, but just wanted to get your thoughts on the airflow and if it's sufficient.
What is the circumference of your head, if you don't mind me asking? Centimeters if you can. I'm trying to decide if I should try a medium or a large and have no outlet to try them.
Hi, I have heard stories about the top vent chopping up bugs and dumping them into your hair. I was wondering if anything like that has ever happened or if you have ever heard of it? Thanks for the great reviews.
All three are excellent helmets. I am currently using 2 Shark RSR2 helmets. I feel the Shark is the safest of the 3. It is quieter than the Arai and lighter than both. The airflow is good, both of the others flow more.

I have the RSR2 and never use earplugs on the road cause it's trully spooky quiet with them.

how does the RSI compare to this helmet? Is the RSI as quiet? does it flow similar amounts of air? THANKS
allenstridezandi 1 year ago
@allenstridezandi Quieter than the RSI and flows more air. A far better helmet all around

Well medium was way to small. No big deal, I change my mind on the graphics anyway, so sent it back for a large.

It'd be nice if you could try on each helmet you review.

And the differences between RSR2 and RS"?? it is really worthier to get a RSR2 instead a RSI???
TiagoFerreira1234567 2 years ago
mmm what is the difference between an RSR2 and an RSX really. I know the RSX is being discontinued but its tempting. Any real big differences??

Stick with the RSR2, better ventilation

any review or input on the Icon Domain?

I would suggest the ICON Airframe over the Domain personally.

So pearsonally you prefer the Shark?
vgjako 3 years ago
I like them both, forced to choose between the two I would reach for the Shark RSR2.

Hi Brian, how would you compare the Shark RSR2 to the Shoei x-11 and the Arai RX7-Corsair?
