@frostbytet17 To think in terms of what's legal and what's illegal is not parkour. Parkour is a form of expressing freedom. Traceurs are responsible for their own actions. In other words, parkour at your own risk. If you are new to the sport, start small, but as you progress in pushing Your limits, why not push the other supposed "limits". P.S.- It's considered extremely rude to parkour on people's private home's without consent so I would stay away from those. Pe@ce

Well, bassin, you have to realize what they're doing here on the roofs IS indeed illegal and you can not only get in trouble with the police, you also give parkour a bad name. I DO NOT reccomend going on rooftops.

As for frostbite, parkour is WELL legal. Just be mindful that police are worried of people getting hurt on a rooftop or school or park and you CAN sue a lot of nomey out of them. It's the roofclimbing thats illegal. Respect the law;)

Thanks for the input, but I do feel context supports the way you can use the word. I say things like "Wanna parkour?" and "Let's Parkour" and the people that I talk to understand exactly what is meant depending on whichever appropriate context.
