Wow. As a pure bred South African, this song means so much to me. It is fantastic to see, in the original video, a black man taking a white woman's hand. Probably one of my favourite songs from the 80's.

parts of the lyric for Feel so Strong had be changed to enable radio airplay in 1983 South Africa. "Didn't know you loved me" had to be changed to "Didn't know you cared so much" versions mixed for local and overseas. Absolutely ridiculous! The song went on to be a big hit in South Africa, and was seen by many as a subliminal message of solidarity with the struggle.
