  • I like loud pipes! Mine are loud for me to listen to, nobody else!

  • cant you just take out the db killers on the stock cans??

  • the only reason at all that I would change the pipe and make it louder is not to get run over by an old lady that didnt hear me coming down the road....other than that I think the loud pipes sould like shiiit.I really laugh at harley guys....poor morons...fat,heavy slow and loud and thats not just their women, its their bikes too.LOL

  • I'm sorry but I would rather be slow, fat, and loud then sound like a weed whacker. Look up boss hoss.

  • Sound like a sewing machine or sound like hell on wheels, you decide. It's a Twin, it's not going to scream. Packing has wore out since the, this was nearly 12k miles ago, it's about 60 times burlier.

  • @Diamondguyrt Sorry mate, but the saying loud pipes save lives is a big bullshit. Those people who drives cars drive while windows are closed and listen to their music. No pipe would help you in this case. Don't be fooling yourself if you thik they would hear you.

  • sounds shit, prob makes it slower too

  • I did a similar mod on mine, but I recently decided to install the Two Brothers M2 system... Sounds MUCH better. Of course it cost almost $900, but I really like it. I'm gonna seal up the OEM mufflers so I can go through inspection at the DMV next year though.

  • Sounds pretty mean.

  • i just used a 2 1/2 inch holesaw to do mine...it was really easy

  • how much did you drill? ...number and size of holes?

  • I took a dremel tool and knocked off the tac welds holding the flash caps to the rear of the exhaust. Its just three bolts. WHEN YOU DO THIS BE VERY CAREFUL I STRIPPED ONE USING A ALAN WRENCH DRILL BIT TO REMOVE. Basically I had them take a torch and torch about a 2" diameter circle out. I can still see the baffles on the inside. Have a shop do this because if you fuck up and melt the baffles it will seal off the exhaust can and then you are out a can. A shop is liable.

  • Hello, at the time I wanted to do that also but at the end I bought the dual Yoshimura TRS oval cans. Beside the fact they sound better they also look very sharp. Beside it is always good to save the stock pipes incase you want to visit your girlfriend in 3 in the morning without her parents knowing about it. Think about it.

    Peace out.
