But it turns out it is a pirate's term for the bottom of the ocean which could aslo symbolize hell and DAvy JOnes is suppose to symbolize God, a saint or the Devil. I had an epiphany the other day while watching a nickalodeon show called Planet Sheen (which is a spin- off of the show jimmy neutron). And i realized that the main character sheen had a sidekick who's a monkey... guess what his name is?... Nesmith! and this monkey named Nesmith wears a red Mike nesmith knit hat all the time! then i realized that, they decided to name this monkey... after a Monkee. My mind was blown!
