This song is very sad. I think that the very saddest thing about it is that it was one of the last songs that Jim Hensen did, as Ernie, for Sesame Street. My children were babies and toddlers when this song was new. I miss Jim, but mostly I miss that they have missed seeing fresh creativity FROM Jim Henson. That was one of the most exciting things about the man. RIP Jim.

This song always seems to comfort me at times when my life gets to hectic. I have a lot of dreams that I want to accomplish, places I'd like to see and things I need to do. But none of them are as important as the people I share them with. If I look past all of our faults, past the fear and guilt, I see the love surrounding me with great intellect about the world's past, present and future. Plus people to share it with. That alone is worth more than I could ever give.
