In both cases they are manifestly untrue, as also is 16:49. There is no shortage of commands (supposedly from Allah) in the Q which are much disobeyed.
The word used in 30:26 is "Qanitoon," meaning subservient or "under the mercy of." This can be verified very easily by reading any number of references such as the 18 volume encyclopedia of Arabic language, "Lisan Al-Arab," Vol. 2, p. 73.
The verse does not use the word "aabidoon" or "mo'minoon" meaning "worshipful, believing, or devout." The difference is that 30:26 only claims that all of God's creation are under His mercy unable to escape Him, and ultimately shall be brought to judgment.
If I say "everyone is under God's mercy unable to escape," does this contradict the claim that "not everyone believes that they are under His mercy nor do they all worship Him"?

It's very interesting how they portray a woman in Islam as "independent", that the belief is that Eve was "separately created" and not a part of Adam and how liberty dominates Islam, while NONE OF THIS CRAP COMES EVEN CLOSE TO THE TRUTH.
In Islam, women are NOTHING, they are OBJECTS, worthless, meaningless OBJECTS. They don't count in ANYTHING, They may be abused left and right without any rights whatsoever, and NBC, for not stating these obvious facts are just repugnant.

Poor blind fools... eager to relinquish the ability to think for themselves. "Do as you are told, because it is what Allah wants." How do they know? I'm a Christian, and I whole-heartedly have faith and devotion in Christianity's teachings. I have NEVER harmed a fellow human being in demonstrating my faith in God. Also, I believe that ANY religion that calls upon the destruction of others, in the name of a higher power, is flawed and is not worthy of any such devotion.

I've personally met numerous "really expert" "leading" Muslims. As soon as you start civilly trying to discuss with them about what the quran actually says, they get upset, run away, threaten you with death, say they are too busy to explain about this most central thing in their life that they are such experts on..... Join the dots folks, this is no honest religion, it is a cult of lies and terror.

"All creatures are obedient to Allah" [30:26] (clearly true, notwithstanding dozens of Quran verses about creatures disobeying Allah); "Unto Allah bow down in worship all living creatures" [16:49] (clearly true); "Believe ye in part of the scripture and disbelieve ye in part? ...those who do .... will be consigned to the most grievous doom." [2:85] (so we'd better make sure we do believe those above).

"For, unto Him belongs every being that is in the heavens and on earth; all things devoutly obey His will." (Quran 30:26)
Meaning that Allah's will is binding on us just as Allah give us freewill therefore letting us to do wrong.

Dear borinpc you need to differentiate between Allah's will and Allah's guidance.
The teaching of Islam is guidance while
Allah's will is that we are allowed to make choices.
If Allah had willed we all would have been Muslims but instead Allah give us the power of choosing the right or wrong.

Thanks Khan, but these are the words of 30:26 according to highly-respected (1) Pickthall and (2) Taqi-ud-Din Al-Hilall & Muhsin Kahn. (1) "..whatsoever is in the heavens and in the earth. All are obedient unto him". (2) "...whatever is in the heavens and the earth. All are obedient to him." In neither case does the word "will" appear. In both cases they are manifestly untrue, as also is 16:49. There is no shortage of commands (supposedly from Allah) in the Q which are much disobeyed.

Dear borinpc, the Quran is revealed in Arabic and thus no translation is perfect.
"Walahu man fee alssamawati waalardi kullun lahu qanitoona"
(Quran 30:26)
The word used in 30:26 is "Qanitoon," meaning subservient or "under the mercy of." This can be verified very easily by reading any number of references such as the 18 volume encyclopedia of Arabic language, "Lisan Al-Arab," Vol. 2, p. 73.

The verse does not use the word "aabidoon" or "mo'minoon" meaning "worshipful, believing, or devout." The difference is that 30:26 only claims that all of God's creation are under His mercy unable to escape Him, and ultimately shall be brought to judgment.
If I say "everyone is under God's mercy unable to escape," does this contradict the claim that "not everyone believes that they are under His mercy nor do they all worship Him"?

Two important replies by myself have been removed just above here. I think that may be because they so clearly expose Islam as the illogical nonsense it really is. My point was that I will believe in this Allah when he takes the trouble to bring his revelation in the English language and free from all the confusion of "interpretation", etc. Sad but typical of the censorship that Muslims have to resort to to defend their intellectual bankruptcy.

Muslims say that when they take over the world there will be a perfect peace. If that's true, what about the countries that are already 100% Muslim? Those are some of the most screwed-up, dysfunctional countries on earth that would starve to death without western aid. The radicals will simply turn on their more moderate fellow Muslims. There is no peace and no end to the radical Muslim blood lust!

skh, The idea of countries that are 100% mussy is as false as the claims of zillions converting in. Check out Apostates of Islam website for numerous who are for obvious reasons not publishing their names. And wikiislam lists many named former clerics who have looked and rejected the nonsense they discovered. Islam is a hollow shell of shallow, fragile denial-beliefs heading towards implosion.

The lady in the video is probably treated very well here in the USA but can she tell me which Muslim country I (a Christian) can go to without being harrassed or even murdered for my beliefs? If she says only the radicals do that then I have news for her...that is who is in charge of her religion. The moderate Muslims have no say and no control over anything!

Christianity actually holds us accountable to become better servants to Christ. The Quran is made up more to serve man and the needs of his flesh. I can see where these folks would want to "convert" so to speak, not saying that I agree by any stretch but soemone whose Christian walk is not where it should be, is easily mislead by false teachings such as Mohammed. It doesn't take a genius to see how violent the nation of islam is and their persecution of Christians throughout the world.
