  • We are not all selfish & egotistical. Some of us are humble, we do not all strive for positions of power. As you can see by this video and some of us commenting, we analyze everything including ourselves. We wish to better understand ourselves, and people who are not like us - whether it be for our own benefit or just so we can better come to terms with what we are. Your true fear is your weakness - the chink in your armour, heart on your sleeve.. we can see that clear as day. Cheers

  • @morjan11 Yes, it's clear that weakness is our strength. Values... think about it...

  • @ReluctantRedneck Everyone has their own strength/weakness. Interpretation is in the mind of the beholder. :)

  • To me it sounds like the most important fear that people have is fear of reality. Luckily you can slap people in the face with reality too, like you have done here. :-)

  • Fear us Mr. Redneck. For every day we are apathetically moving closer towards you.

  • As I'm sure its been pointed out not all sociopaths are like that. So to say you should fear a whole group of people that make up 4% of the population is kind of wrong. Yes, we dont have the emotional restrictions as normal people do when it comes to decisions, but that doesn't mean we are all dahmers or hitlers. judging a whole group off a few individuals is like saying all gray things are elephants cause a few are. Rant over. Oh, and nice to see an educated redneck (oxymoron?)

  • @rocker909 yay, another non hitler sociopath, that makes two of us!

  • @rocker909 100% agree with you here. We can analyze and dissect information to come to a conclusion. We are not all monsters, we are born this way and it is not like we choose to have the "void" that we do. We are able to make decisions based on the general populations reaction. We can UNDERSTAND how empathy works - we can make decisions based on this. We just don't feel it. Yes, there are people who go down the wrong path. Not all of us. We are everyday people, all around you.

  • man fear and fakeness...most white people are full of both...i think thats why they hate black people they aint afraid and will tell them off..ya argue back u stuck up pricks

  • People really need to realize not all sociopaths/diagnosed people with AsPD are the same. That's like saying all white people are the same. I'm diagnosed with AsPD and am no Hannibal Lecter.

  • I fear your ugly hillbilly face actually

  • Perfectly reasonable views. I'm a sociopath and I must say that you seem to understand the disorder quite well.

I have no desire to hurt people physically. I do not want to kill you or anything like that. I'm a person who has gained the ability to think logically.

  • @ElHanko Why do you care to point out what you do not want to do if you're a sociopath?

  • @HybridD91 Using that logic, why would I care to get out of bed?

  • awesome guy, subscribed. Break the redneck stereotype.

    Welcome from Bangkok, Thailand

  • I'd rather be a sociopath than an American

  • @sabbathdei Like baiting people? You MAY be a sociopath.

  • @sabbathdei what a dumb thing to say

  • nice vid bro

  • Yeah, I'm such a scary monster :eyeroll:

  • Casey Anthony will probably make another baby. I wonder if she'll murder her next child?

  • Casey Anthony is an example of a modern day Sociopath. She used both her parents and her friends for years. She could tell very convincing lies for long periods of time. She was very driven to get what she wanted, and disregard what she didn't want, including her own daughter. If you want to study a Sociopath, study her.

  • @Mhendeb Spot on!!

  • Sociopaths aren't anti-social. In fact, Sociopaths are very social and know how to play on peoples emotions to manipulate them. Because Sociopaths can't feel any attachment to other people, they don't hesitate to use other people for their personal benefit. They don't feel any guilt for it. Sociopaths in fact are very vain and think they're better than everyone else. They're very driven people and won't let anyone get in their way, even if that means hurting someone.

  • Your fears are understandable but most sociopaths/psychopaths aren't nearly as deranged as Jeffrey Dahmer or Hitler. I even get frightened imagining I could become that lost mentally. The common misconception is that sociopath's choose not to care when in fact they don't have the ability to do so. What worries me is that psychopathic people can't reach out for help. If I were to become as mentally unhinged as Dahmer who could I go to for help? On the outside I would appear completely normal.

  • @TheNiceSociopath Fear is an emotion. Therefore, you are either lying right now, or you have misdiagnosed yourself as a sociopath. There are numerous traits needed to accurately classify one as a psychopath, simply being emotionless is not enough. Are you known to be very charming and extremely egotistical? Plus, a sociopath will never admit to being a sociopath. They think they are perfectly healthy. But they will lie and pretend to be "nice sociopaths" to salvage their rotten image. You're ok.

  • @JMorde999 Characteristics of a sociopath are not set in stone though, not all sociopaths are charming. Wether they will admit to being a sociopath or not depends on the situation, if the situation is beneficial they may admit it.

The main thing is that if one is concerned about being a sociopath, the fact that they are concerned about it means they're not, draw the line between curiosity and concern though because a sociopath still may inquire about their own psychology.

  • Im a sociapath, i dont know how to love and I dont know how to care when im angry. But I do care about animals more than people. If u think about god he's a sociapath because he hasnt give a damn about us nor do angels. As for soldiers there job is to do what they r told without question.

  • An another tip for our survival. Don't be afraid of us. I mean it's like your giving a propaganda to people to fear sociopaths and who knows who has a gun and want to kill us. I'm not violent, ilI can't love and I don't care about money.or humanity. For you and normal people we don't exist, that's what every sociopath want. Peace and Loneliness (some suffer of it) but that's OUR Utopia. :D

  • This is hard serious stuff. It's true sociopaths walks among us, even I am a sociopath but I try not going to the harder edge (psychopathy) and keep a hold of myself. But mostly I'm intelligent and thats good. But sociopaths are very good at hiding and blending in. They analyze and then apply so they are very good at planning. Anyways everything is obvious about them but finding them is hard.

  • A psychiatric diagnosis is a best guess based on the symptoms presented. Frequently, people are mislabeled as sociopaths because they were horribly abused in some way and are thus antisocial, or are alcoholics or chemical dependents whose behavior mimics that of sociopaths.

  • The bottom line is that it is normal to derive some pleasure from hurting and tormenting others, but the true psychopath receives extreme pleasure from doing so. Also, most of psychology is pure guesswork with no real empirical evidence to support it. However, psychopaths unquestionably exist. The evidence is just too strong to dismiss their disease as typical psychobabble. This is not the usual mental illness invented by a fancy Phd who wants to make a name for himself and sell drugs for it.

  • Do you think i can help having Anti Social Personality Disorder? NO. I have had it ever since i can remember. ASPD (sociopath) I have a regular job, and a house, dogs. But i have to fight the urge everyday to kill. I dont feel anything for anyone, i have a basic feeling for my dogs but it is never genuine. I support the second amendment, i own firearms. So if you thing every right winger 2nd amendment supporter is a regular joe, you are very very wrong my friend. Zach.

  • good video... specially the part between 5th and 9th minute

shall more ppl be affraid of sociopaths and the threat that sociopaths poses there for their fear would make them treat the sociopaths really carefully...

  • As the video "freedom from conscience" makes clear, psychopaths have a low level of fear combined with a desire to gain power. And of course the traits that psychopaths give them an advantage in getting elected.

  • I think this was factful, articulate and presented in comfortable setting. I enjoyed it...

  • honestly if you break it down to some degree we all have sociopathic tendencies some are more severe some are not and it is not cool like hollywood portrays its a disorder you suffer with your entire life not fun knowing you will never know how genuine love feels its a curse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • you cannot truly understand a sociopath unless you are one. pointless, time-wasting video.

  • @Anonymous62828 only a sociopath would make that claim.

  • HOLY FUCK, A REDNECK ON THE INTERNET.

  • @polarseizure Most RV parks now have WiFi.

  • I am not a sociopath, but I place the survival of the human species (and with that even the likelihood of survival) above any sum of individual human lives.

This is purely rational and not based upon feelings, and thus is an inhumane view. I still feel that it is necessary to remain rational though, even if our feelings get in the way sometimes.

  • I strongly agree with you. I think fear is the root cause of most social problems, especially unacknowledged fear of sociopaths. They have conditioned us to tolerate their culture of abuse by shaming, bullying and fear-mongering. I believe, based on long experience interacting with "successful" sociopaths, that ASPD is a genetic defect, not a result of parental abuse or poverty. Sociopaths in positions of authority are hiding the evidence. It's SOP in the military-industrial complex.

  • Every military and army wants sociopaths as soldiers no emotion or feelings just the will to kill

  • @crackerHero Yes, they've made a malignant, dangerous genetic defect appear to be a strength. They reward sociopaths and conformists who tolerate them and punish sane, independent people who fight back and expose them. What they're doing to Bradley Manning is a brutal crime. It's also cost the taxpayers millions. That's pocket change to sociopaths who have stolen trillions from us. Their recruiting practices and abuse of soldiers with PTSD are pure evil. Dennis Kucinich sees through them.

  • Sociopaths/Pychopaths, whatever you want to call them exactly, are the reason I carry a firearm everywhere I go. I'm licensed to carry concealed in most of the United States. I've gone through tremendous lengths to train myself on the range and at special handgun/rifle courses all over the country. In regards to the sociopaths who are violent, I am prepared to use deadly force to protect myself and especially my family. You have to be vicious in self defense.

  • Nice hat

  • Nice hate

  • great little disscussion much liked!

  • you damn danged goldarned redneck gosh darnit

  • people who place an ideal above human life? What about America fighting in Vietnam or Korea? Americans fought for the IDEAL that communism is wrong and almost complete capitalism is right. Does that make them sociopaths? Just something to think about

  • @MrTrumajo A very interesting idea. Business strives for a sociopathic ideal. Governments, when controlled by business interests are the same. It's an issue that needs a lot more attention and discussion by humanists.

  • @ReluctantRedneck Well, this is why sociopaths often excel in business and politics. They just do or say what ever they need to in order to get what they want, but unlike people who are just needy they don't do it because they want people around them. They want to OWN them and USE them.

  • @MrTrumajo But even then it was because they believed that communism was wrong. Sociopaths have no sense of right and wrong. They only have a sense of "Me, Me, Me".

  • @MrTrumajo Yes!

Many US presidents and other leaders and potentates of our society have been & are sociopaths ...and almost every celeb. ...its the american way ...we unknowingly luminate the sociopath .....Then they contrive and spin to get the mass' to fight an IDEA like commies are bad or vietnam ...or ''sadam did it get um!!'' ..all work of the sociopath ...

  • @MrTrumajo

Off the top of my head, I can think of 1 sociopath that got us into Vietnam. That would be LBJ staging the "Gulf of Tonken" red flag operation.

  • @MrTrumajo I think the idea of communism is that the individual is forced to work for everybody, such that there's no freedom. I see how the sociopath succeeds in a free market environment, but they'll ultimately fail when people see how bad their business practices are.

  • @MrTrumajo

Capitalism rewards sociopathic behavior, isn't that kind of a "duh" thing?

  • @kjimbro Capitalism doesn't reward sociopathic behavior at all: Capitalism is simply the right for an individual to earn their pay from a private company as well as the right to employ others.

If anything, MATERIALISM rewards sociopathy. People who can't tell the difference between the two are the ones who mistakenly think socialism/communism is in anyones best interest.

  • @CHRLPTRSN Explain how a company can grow and maintain its success without the use of sociopathic behavior.

  • @HybridD91 You're talking about selfish behavior, but calling it sociopathic behavior.

The difference between the two is that the average person always do things for selfish reasons, but are guided by their conscience and/or empathy, whereas a typical sociopath - while also doing everything for selfish reasons - has no conscience and/or empathy.

And to answer your question: Wise administration.

  • You make me feel like I am a vampire or something (:

  • summit racing parts ftw!!!

  • fuck sociopaths i will mess them up by bringing the truth iv grew with sociopaths n im done with it

  • @TrueDominguez same here. I remember a relative of mines that tries to make me feed bad about myself and loves to humiliate me. He would try to turn other people against me by telling them bogus stuff about me. Ruined my chances with so many girls in my teenage years. Seems like the only thing that would make him happy was when I'm suffering.

  • @scarynoudlechubby u can eather fll or rise from it n iv choosen to rise from it all i suggest u do the same bro

  • Fear? thats not my thing buddy.

  • Another way to look at things is that Hitler murdered people to save Germany and the US nuked Japan to save American lives. A sociopath probably wouldn't want to get involved with either event.

  • @hunt458 But it could just as easily be that Hitler was pretending to care about Germany and playing on it's racist fears about Jews just to get into power. The difference is that Jews don't actually kill people (most of the time). The Japan military was out to kill people at the time. But then again maybe the American government was just looking for an excuse. Sociopaths often go into politics.

  • It is overly idiotic that you fear me. I truly hate people like you, people that have irrational fears. However, I do enjoy the talents that come along with my personality. You are weak, weak and disgusting, suicide is the best treatment for you. Have a blessed day.

  • @codyisraddd how charming...are you supposed to be a sociopath? or a butchy???

  • @codyisraddd aaahhhh, it's nice to know I'm not the only one...

  • I have known a few of these "people".most of them go un-detected. These "people" absolutely have no concience, and do not percieve that anything is wrong with them.

They are capable of anything, even tough most of them are not serial killers. THOSE are the ones that go too far. People close to them are "targets" to be used and abused. They are in the workplace even. They even hurt their own family

for no real reason, because they can NOT LOVE other people. Use and hurt and discard-their S.O.P.

  • Good posting. Please bear in mind sociopath doesn't necessarily mean your high-profile axe-wielding homicidal maniacs; or your Hitlers and Pol Pots. It could include acquaintances, colleagues, business associates and spouses/partners.

What is fearful is the spell these evil genuises to hold over their victims, often without them knowing. They are subtle liars projecting an aura of respectability and accomplishment who never face up to their evil behaviour.

  • I think that for most sociopaths it is easy to supress their sociopathic impulses (at least for me it is). I would just like to say that we aren't "monsters." We are born this way. We can't help it. Most serial killers are sociopaths, but a very small amount of sociopaths are serial killers. Understand? I have no desire to hurt anyone. I just don't feel remorse for those that have been hurt. I can't help feeling like an outsider.

  • It might be more helpful if you discuss your own fears and anxieties rather than talk in the 3rd person. Make it personal...or are you afraid?....FEAR :)

  • @brittania1974 I'm always up for more helpful, but I'm AFRAID I can't please everyone... lol

  • @brittania1974 People in general society should be careful of sociopaths. Sociopaths are scientifically quantified evil. They are soulless people who exploit everyone and hurt many people with no remorse.

  • ''fight club'' was really about chuck palahniuk coming to terms with being gay ,not about sociopaths read into it.

  • i really am a sociopath and i cant help but feel cut of from other and alien on almost all levels and i spend a lot of time trying to compose myself to normal standards because i understand how xenophobic people are by nature. i know you might not mean any offense with this video but it makes me sad that you are afraid me.i done nothing to hurt myself or others in all the years of my life i just simply feel alien. (read more before you help spread fear) -corey

  • why is it some americans talk so fast my ears can't keep up and some americans talk so slow I'm bored already but I made it to 2 mins, bye..

  • why the fuck should anyone feel for humanity.... fuuuucckk humanity

  • See the movie: "Fight Club" if you haven't seen it before. It's good for studiing this disorder.

  • .....from the sociaty. Most of the antisocials are fleeing from sociaty. Anyway, most of the sociopaths know what they missing. Like caring of other people and sort of, and belive me that having a certain level of sociopathy or antisociality is REALLY bad thing, it's a real suffering. And please, PLEASE, try to leave those people alone. Belive me, they don't wan't to kill anyone!

  • ......But not all the time, first they outcast, they find you wierd, but if you stay in that sociaty for more time, they starting to like you in some way. You will be in the center of attention. They start to listen to you, no matter what you say, they give you the truth, you really have the ability to start spouting and they would follow your ideals. BUT at this pont everyone stop. Not every sociopath becomes a Hitler or a Stalin! 99% of the sociopaths are just broken and suffer.....

  • Good video, but i'm not getting how a man with social problems would become a bloody leader or murder...

Anyway, belive me, the fear of sociaty can be as bad as the fear of antisocial people. How it feels like is... when you are in the sociaty of normal people you just not fit in, in a short time, the people of this sociaty start to outcast you, and you don't really understand why! And every time you meet with a group of good people you already know that they going to outcast you........

  • I'm the younger sister of a sociopath. Growing up (and even as an adult whenever we are in the same room together) my sister used me like a favorite abuse toy. She learned early on that she could not get away with her behavior towards others but that no one was interested in stopping her if she abused me. Some people call this childish sibling squabbling, but what sane grown woman expects her sister to address her as "My Lord and Master"?

  • You look like Captain Leland Stottlemeier from Monk!!!

  • I FEAR NO SUCH FAGGOTNESS.

  • yes red neck i did what you said too do. The psychopath then uses the charictor assination move on you .you ten look likr the bad guy and there the night in shining armour. New idea all polititions should be tested for psychopy to be able to take office no more hittler/stalins/chin/armin/ carns/bush/cheny no more wars

better advise if you see a psychopath run and run as far and as fast as you can.

trust me ive been there and been burnt. better idea for humanity kill them stop the gens

  • When people commit murder eg. Columbine -- it's because they WANTED & CHOSE TO.because they are bastards.

If it's about being 'driven' - we'd ALL be doing it! But we CHOOSE not to because we're not bastards.

  • many sociopaths have extreme anxiety, because something that they need is dictated by someone with a conscience.

  • its called PSYCHOPATH. godamn, why? because its not only cultural, hence not socio, its also Genetic, so its psychopatia, so typical this old semantic made up for no reason in USA. i study psychopaths ok, for over 15 years, i think i know what i talk about. regards PH.D

  • @rustedme do you really?? if you really know psycopaths tell me what makes one?? i personaly know but i want to know if u really know

  • WTF

  • Again you're really putting a stereotype in sociopaths based on what you read in a textbook and how the media portrays them. Not all of them end up killers, it is that they are only capable of doing so without feeling a thing. Having thoughts if killing is pushed more into the psychopath. Sociopaths can be the nicest person, the most "thoughtful", and the most "caring", however it is not real. They are incapable of feeling basic emotions, but understand most of them. Other cases they don't unde

  • The really bad thing is the dark forces that actually create the sociopath in the first place...

  • @mike4ty4 Sociopaths aren't made. They're born. Their upbringing might make things worse, but they are what they are.

  • The mustache, racing cap and adoption of a 'Redneck' persona seem to indicate a middle aged grasping for identity. But in the end your message is probably more beneficial than harmful, and thus you are forgiven.

  • Your face is an anxiety.

  • I don't understand why people hold human life to such a high value, we're just animals. 10 million dead doesn't compare to 6.7 billion alive with higher standards of living, improved technology, or better anything really. Personally I believe we should kill all people who are carry unwanted genetic traits and genetically engineer the faults out of humanity when it is possible. The biggest one I suppose would be emotion. Imagine all the set backs of emotion. If only we were perfectly logically.

  • All of the most rich and successful people are sociopaths. Even Bill Gates, although he hides it well. I have proof but I won't go into that here. My father was a millionaire in his prime, from guns and drugs etc, but he became sick for many years and couldn't maintain the business.

Sociopath + Intelligence = Success. Most of the time.

An intelligent sociopath doesn't go around murdering people or leaving red tape about the 'questionable' ways they reached their success. That's mostly fiction

  • @gsus7125 You´re such a dangerous sociopath leaving coments on youtube behind your momma´s pc, no fuck, you´re evil

  • ...And I don't have any guilt about saying that. It's just a means to an end. If I had to kill every on every continent to make me and my family rich and immortal, I would, and I would never feel guilty about it. Your either a shark or a sheep. Just thought I'd let you youtubers in on those thought processes.

Honestly I think about 50% of society is sociopaths...And the other 50% are delusional. Being a sociopath is very freeing.

  • @gsus7125 How is it freeing?

  • @gsus7125 your not a socio path... More like a border line retard that sucks at lying

  • I'm a sociopath, my father and brother are even bigger sociopaths. My brother takes after my father and me after my mother (who is 'normal'). My father was pretty high up in what you would call the 'mafia'. He is dead now though. My brother is in prison. I'm a more subtle form of sociopath though, I don't get involved in drugs and other equally illegal things. I still get involved in illegal things but not to that extent. People I don't know are just objects to be used for my advantage.

  • @gsus7125 god damn you arent a fucking sociopath shut the fuck up sociopaths dont brah about being one they cant think morrally like you are right now fucking dumbass...

  • @gsus7125

sociopaths don't say they are it genius..

  • @Ironandtheshizzelz Sometimes they do, they just don't see it as a bad thing. They might describe themselves as "stoic" or "smart".

  • Most people with sociopathy are not criminals. Great job perpetuating stereotypes!

  • I like people like you those that fear the sociopaths it shows that ur less then willing to get in my way also I like the look of fear in peoples faces you should try it a sinsation like you never felt in ur life.....how do I know you ask well i'll leave that up to ur imagination on a closing note I watch ur fear while it can help you it can also hurt you plus its one of the ingredients for sociopath trust me i'm one of them.

  • @SuperKijun why fear a sociopath ? they're just like other folk except they're sadder and more desperate

  • @ItchyClickfinger Because not all us fall in one catagory for example im very sensitive about my solitude but have limits in defending it while others are hell bent in staying in solitude if it means spilling blood plus theres our ability to charm otheres while some of us use this for good or neutral gains others use it for twisted purposes like sheding blood so you see caution is a must when approaching sociopaths even we use this when approaching one another.

  • @SuperKijun you are not a sociopath because youre basically bragging about being one. sociopaths show no emotions or moral thought, you on the other hand just made points that a sociopath couldnt accomplish, stop acting like a sociopath

  • @DLMSlayer34 Well little boy were's ur proof that I'm not a sociopath i'm not bragging but explaining you people think you know us inside and out yet your info about us is so far off that it is annoying I've seen many sociopaths while you never even met one so how can a closed mind like yours dismiss me as a fake but then ur just a child easy to spout shit with no proof and another thing boy we can show emotions or moral thoughts after all we are humans you brainless monkey.

  • @SuperKijun Sociopaths are particularly intelligent. That fact alone debunks you as a real one.

  • what's a sociopath can someone please explain to me?

  • im a socipath, but i cant help. is that a reason to shun me away?

  • I think my dad is a sociopath :(...

  • I got a feeling you are a sociopath! A sociopathic redneck! Run people, run!!

  • "The rest of us"? Aren't there more sociopaths and psychopaths than "normal" people out there right now? I can actually see "world leaders" making their decisions the way they do. It's the common person that will climb over a pile of dead bodies to get the latest iPhone that scare me. People that aren't "sociopaths". People that are just stupid and have no education in morality and ethics.

Always remember all this stuff is theory. A sociopath can only exsist if you believe that they do.

  • i agree with most you have to say, but not all sociopaths commit crimes. Thats more like tv fanatsy or books, alot of sociopaths just try to get by with a normal life and put on a happy mask just to fit in "to herd" like you put it. im glad to see someone intellectual on youtube and who chooses his words wisely :D its refreshing :)

  • @XxtehjesterxX

    Thanks!

  • @ReluctantRedneck no prob, there are so many people who just talk out of there ass xD its nice to see someone intelligent.

  • @ReluctantRedneck UGH, quit motivating the herd with fear you will start a stampede. How am i supposed to hunt with you all running around irrationally?

  • @XxtehjesterxX Quite so, I believe it's become a cliche now that all sociopaths are inexplicably evil and commit crimes. Are all blonds dumb? No. Are all black people ghetto? No. Are all sociopaths evil? No.

  • @kilkun The only reason they aren't ALL criminals is because we don't make things like selfishness, lying, arrogance and sadism illegal. But they are still wrong.

  • @KimonoHire Not all of sociopaths even do that kinds of things. Lying sure, but everybody lies. Selfishness can be found in anybody to some extent. The things you mention that are "bad" are part of human nature.

  • @kilkun I think a person would have to be pretty naive to think that a person without emotion or morality wouldn't harm anyone. They lack the same restraint of a normal person. They can only be amused by making everything in life a constant competition and they win by humiliating and exploiting the people around them. Maybe you're thinking of something other then a sociopath, like a withdrawn person, a depressed person or a person with avoidant personality disorder.

  • @KimonoHire No, they lack no restraint. I myself am a sociopath and the largest thing I ever have done to hurt someone is to punch them for punching me. Things you list that are "true" are infact common stereotypes. I am amused by several things that I discovered in my childhood. I only manipulate someone into no good if I believe they deserve it. I can easily make stereotypes as well about people but I don't because I see no need for wasting energy about that when I could care less about them.

  • this guy is exactly the kind of guy that pretty female sociopaths target

  • @XxtehjesterxX They may not commit crimes against the laws of the land but they commit crimes against the heart. Sociopaths aren't depressed people who are pretending to be happy. Sociopaths never get depressed. The never feel anything genuine, except anger and even then there isn't much to it.

  • @KimonoHire Sociopaths actually do get depressed. They are prone to depression for they are constantly bored with life. You are right when you say they don't feel much, but depression is different than sadness. Imagine the most bored you have ever been, now multiply it by ten and that is what it is like everyday for them.

  • Oh boo-hoo! Despite how they are born all people make choices about how they decide to think.

  • @KimonoHire Yeah you don't "decide to think" the way sociopaths do, you simply do. You can make choices into not being a dick to people but it is just WAY to much fun. It's kinda like going to a petting zoo and you are all excited but you dad tells you, you can't pet any animals. You do anyway though.

  • @KimonoHire ....Its not like they wake up and think "TODAY IM GOING TO FEEL NOTHING" Its a chemical imbalance of the brain. I never said they were depressed.

  • @XxtehjesterxX Sorry, wrong poster. Regardless of biology we're all making choices everyday. The choice to try to humiliate and exploit everyone around you is not excused by a chemical imbalance. It is still wrong and I don't feel sorry for them in any way.

  • @KimonoHire ....That is perhaps the most idiotic thing I have ever heard. What about people with depression? Or schizophrenia? Or perhaps people with Bipolar disorder? Have you no feeling for them either? Because its the same exact thing. They cant help the way they are, and I dont know WHO told you they exploit and humiliate people, but they are obviously ill informed.

  • @XxtehjesterxX And the use of feeling compassion for them would be? If anything they would see it as a form of defeat if I did. What separates sociopathy from depression, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder is that these other conditions don't prevent someone from feeling any emotion or guilt and they don't prevent people from having a sense of morality. As to whether or not they exploit and humiliate people I can personally verify it because I have dealt with one.

  • @KimonoHire So, because of ONE sociopath you classify them all? I'm an atheist. So If I dealt with ONE nutso christian, should I say all are that way? And it may not prevent them from feeling emotion, but they csnt control theres. They can go from violent to happy in seconds. And you should not feel guilt, but perhaps empathy? Its not like they chose this life. Its not like thats what they wanted.

  • @XxtehjesterxX I think they want people to believe they don't all do things that way, but only because once you're aware of their condition you're not as easy to manipulate. In other words, I won't be convinced. I think it's far more useful for people to be aware of the condition and protect themselves then to philosophize about whether sociopaths are human or not. I could argue that "normal" people didn't choose to share the earth with sociopaths, but the situation is what it is.

  • On a side note I would say that all atheists have met one or two stupid Christians and decided that Christianity must be false based on what they were told. But they felt is was sufficient grounds to form part of a lifestyle anyway. The difference is that my beliefs about sociopaths are built on the idea of potential; Whether or not they act it out is a matter of their own choices, but due to what I know about the condition and what I've seen I know what they are capable of.

  • @KimonoHire .....Im a human being and capable of murdering billions of poor, innocent people. I could start a holocaust and kill an innocent group of peoples, or perhaps dictate an army to do my will. Everyone is capable of many things, thats HARDLY ground for assuming such an awful thing. I have met a sociopath who was very kind to me and understanding. of my curiosity about his illness. Its not the illness. Its the person and how they decided to handle it. Evil people are everywhere.

  • @XxtehjesterxX I don't think this person you are talking about was a true sociopath if they were very kind to you and understanding in a GENUINE manner. If, of course, they were faking the kindness and understanding, then yes that person was a sociopath.

  • @XxtehjesterxX he wasn't a real sociopath. he was trying to convince you how badass and damaged he was. A real sociopath is like a spider. You dont realize you've been led into a trap until its far to late

  • @phaedruslive that...is just flat out cinema bullcrap.

  • @XxtehjesterxX lol. No its not. To a socio-path all of life is a battle of wits. Like a massive chess game. With enough subterfuge and cunning. They believe they can have anything. They understand morality but follow it only when it serves their agendas. They arent lonely broken people. A real socio-path is a politician that never goes off the clock.

  • @phaedruslive ...Yea, Ok. All sociopaths are mastermind evil scientists waiting to pounce. Sure guy. Go watch some informative documentaries instead of "Dexter" as a reference for a disease.

  • @XxtehjesterxX if they are bereft of the symptoms, how can they have the disease. GEE I WONDER. sociopathy by its definition is a lack of morality and manipulative behavior. (the majority of cases were caused by a childhood trauma not the pass the buck chemical imbalance excuse. Though there is some evidence it can be inherited) they're also compulsive liars and socially adept. In denying those qualities you deny the condition by its basic definition.

  • @ThePhilosofist that response makes you sound like one of those guys that didn't get citizen kain.

  • @XxtehjesterxX People want to believe that evil is an illness so they can tell themselves they are good by default.

  • Is it anti social of me in the year of 1999 and early 2000, to think a great night is spent making a map for Unreal Tournament, instead of going out and hanging with friends at the bowling alley?

I was in the 9th grade, first year of high-school, the internet was still a thing for "nerds". Sure I was hot for women, but I was more concerned with making worlds in Unreal editing yet unseen.

I now try to exclude myself from social interactions because they are not constructive. Am I a sociopath?

  • @BallsInYourJawsBitch No. If you were a sociopath, you would be out interacting with people to look for victims.

  • @MAC2890

    Compassionate anti-socialism?

I don't necessarily care for you, but I understand that concern for another is good.

  • @BallsInYourJawsBitch By "looking for victims," I meant looking for people to victimize.

  • @MAC2890 Is it victimization if you find a man stranded on the side of the road and have him pay $40 to get his vehicle running again?

  • @BallsInYourJawsBitch Laughing. A sociopath would never engage in such a fair, open, even-handed deal. Sociopath: Is driving around with his mark, whom the sociopath suspects may be beginning to doubt his intentions. The duo encounter the stranded man. The sociopath proceeds to tow the stranded man many miles to the closest mechanic for free. This convinces the mark that the sociopath is actually a good, giving person, and the sociopath goes on to extract 1000X$40 from the mark.

  • @BallsInYourJawsBitch sociopath is not whether your antisocial, its how you consider others on an emotional level

  • i agree with everything you said. thanks for putting up this video

  • i have some (anti-social/sociopathological) tendencies. I'm pretty poor and powerless though. so, you know, no fear or anything.

  • My question is, how to do you differentiate between a person that does not care and a sociopath?
