  • I seriously don't see why so many people are against Mormons. I may not be of Mormon faith, but I love the people. If I wasn't Methodist, I would definitely be Mormon.

  • Hello anyone knowing e-mail address on church please write I need to write to someone that works there

  • If Mormons are devil-worshipers, then why were they threatened with annihilation, time and time again, by Mobs, by Governors, by Presidents, By DARKNESS.

1933 Mobs chase Mormons from their homes in Jackson, MI

1938 Mormon Return attempt to their homes, resulting in the Mormon War

1938 Extermination Order issued against every MAN WOMAN AND CHILD.

    1938 HAUNS MILL MASSACRE

1938 Illinois Mormon War (assassination of Joseph Smith)

    1938 Mormon Exodus

1857 Utah War (the middle of NOWHERE)

    etc

  • Very nice video and great pics! Do you live in the Salt Lake area?

My latest video "Salt Lake City: City Tour" shows all around the city, but also shows the Salt Lake Temple too... my "Salt Lake City: Temple Square" one shows it better though (and at Christmas time with all the lights). Check them both out if you want & let me know what you think...

  • How is it like inside the temple?

  • beautiful house of the lord..In that holy place.. i wish to get married here one day :)

  • I'm Catholic but learned to respect and like Mormons. Jesus wants people to love one another.

  • @JosephStalin11 Good luck with getting a Mormon to like you back. I've found they'll talk good to your face but talk you into the dirt when your back is turned. Never trust any of these fools.

  • @dorisfenella I don't personally think God will be much happy with him if he just told someone to burn in hell. -.-" if you don't like the video or our religion. Please don't watch it...we have our beliefs you have yours...so please be respectful and just leave.

  • LDS FOR LIFE(:!

  • @yumlemonjuice

The reason why non mormons are not allowed in the Temple is because you will spill the beans about it. It is really bizarre and creepy. You can go to isthechurchtrue's account to listen to the entire temple endowment. They teach tokens or handgrips, signs or hand gestures, in order to return to the Celestial Kingdom. You can tell if a mormon has been to the Temple because they wear garments for the rest of their lives underneath their clothes as a reminder of the temple endowment

  • I hope all you fucking Mormons burn in hell!

  • @224master God bless you. That is the way people who killed Joseph Smith tought!

    How good christian you are.(ironic)

    Greets from Perú.

  • i feel sorry for the LDS

  • im very proud to be an LDS..........

  • im very proud to be an LDS..........

  • why aren't non-mormons allowed inside for the ceremonies?

  • @yumlemonjuice Because they are considered very sacred, and you must be pure, and clean upon entering; It's an honor, and even some LDS don't fit the description.

  • It is well...

  • What music is this?

Very beautiful video; the detail is amazing.

  • It's a great building. I'll get to see it again in around 2 weeks. But it's so sad anyhow.

  • so pretty!

  • Is that the Big Bear constellation on the front of the temple? If so, that is very important.

  • Can I inquire why? you've sparked my curiosity

  • Big Bear (or Big Dipper) rises and travels Northwest over the Rockies in January. This is important because the Big Dipper on the Northwest tower of the temple is a cosmological marker. All temples in the Ancient Near East were cosmological markers. Temples in Mesoamerica were often used as calendars. This means that the Salt Lake Temple serves as a cosmological calendar and truly is a restored temple and not just some attractive building.

  • I was reading up on it and my conclusions are correct. Temples in the Ancient Near East serve as cosmological indicators of the heavens. Temples in Mesoamerica serve as calendars using the cosmos (something the Ancient Israelites did). This is important because the Big Bear (Big Dipper) appears on the Northwest tower and that constellation travels Northwest over the Rockies every January. This means the temple determines the month of the year by the Big Dipper.

  • thanks for your reply. that answers alot. hope you have a good turkey day :)

  • I heard that the salt lake temple is going to be closed down for a couple of years because of some remodeling or strenthening the foundation. Is this true or is it a rumor?

  • if it is true, by the time they'd reopen, my wife and I can go visit. we're going to the billings, mt temple next year. can't wait!

  • awesome! I love it with the music!

  • I marvel at the beauty of the SL Temple. I marvel even more how it was made and dedicated during a time of great conflict.

  • Beautiful photography, Seth. I especially love the detail shots. This was my wedding temple, and the temple my ancestors built. It has always been especially sacred to me.

  • Very beautiful!

  • Seth,

Thanks for posting this!!! WOW!!! All I can say is that this is an example of what one's faith can rise to build. I love the "Handshake" symbols which I believe represents man's unity to his creator.
