  • nice song...love it... the title isn't a glass of wine though. it really means like " one shot of liquor"

  • You know... you're absolutely right! Ooops! Sorry!

  • dengue fever it would rock if you did a New Year's gig on the Queen Mary with Nimol backed by dancers like this video.

What a show. What a band. What a singer.

  • Damn, that is creative. The guys play a faster beat of Khmer classical Ros Sereysothea and Sin sisamouth with a HOT khmer singer.

  • Ros Sereysothea would be proud...

  • Denger Fever , i love what you are doing. Bring back all of cambodian classic rock.. I love it.

  • HELLA VISH!!! I KNOW THAT SINGER!!

  • Blow me

    away?

  • theylive, if you haven't seen them live you dont know shit. she blew me away live. she is an AWESOME singer.

  • she is performing at watt angkorchum in houston tx !!!! for khmer new year april 12 .. for u who live in tx and want to see her rock the party , make sure u come to our temple for khmer new year !!

  • yes.. i was there, and dance too!!

  • that very nice song

  • theyLIVE1 - wow.. how closed minded can you be? How can you say they are playing the music sloppily? I mean this is "THEIR" version of this song. In no way are they trying to duplicate it exactly.

It's people like you who give Cambodian people a bad name.. Maybe you should practice commons sense, as it is apparent you don't have any!

  • This is for "theyLIVE1" I am a student pursuing a degree in music composition, and performance arts. I am Khmer as well, and i understand what your saying. We must preserve the well being of the art that is portrayed in the Khmer culture, but to grow in modern times, sometimes mean change and "EXPERIMENT" this is a wonderful band. And it hurts me to see that some khmer people are still conservative about it. We werent conservative when we made this music in the beginning. art means growth.

  • In the meantime between time the vietnamese are invading our homeland,an under age child is being sold in brothel,a woman laid to rest from AIDS,an entire family evacuated from a bamboo hut they call home,an entire Khmer village dying of dengue fever haaaaaaahha, but hey party on !!

  • Great! Thats my favorite song!

  • my oh my. i would delete all these negative comments, but i'm keeping them to look back on one day and just giggle. :D

  • i dont understand the over criticalness of all this, sure Chhom Nimol is no Touch Sreynich, who was also in turn no Ros Sereysothea but the point is to keep the music alive and keep it interesting for newer generations

  • I agree with Miryoku why bring all these musical politics into this arena. In just one week I've turned on at least 6 people to the music of Ros Sereysothea via Dengue Fever. People in the USA are craving something different. Let them have it in whatever delivery is possible. Pass the music along or it will die.

  • I SECOND THAT!

  • theylive shut the f up, seriously.

dengue fever is exposing what cambodian music have to offer, something that was stripped away from us. Before the genocide, many talented artists were slaughtered and they never got the chance to showcase the talent that they had. Dengue Fever is bringing back the talent that was taken away from us, and you should never condemn them for that. I hope your not Khmer, because if you are you should be ashamed of yourself.

  • I am khmer, but your a dumbass. My entire family from khmer and here in america all are disgusted by this band. Dengue fever makes us look bad. You must have been brought up in a less traditional khmer family.

  • theylive stfu. seriously. how do they make us look bad? their exposing american's to a different style of music, and the fact that they interpret a 60's sound to it makes it even better.who gives a crap about what your family in srok khmer thinks about it,they're not the effing spokesperson of good music. someone should slap you.

  • oh and you can give a good definition of khmer music? please enlighten me. maybe i'm just missing something and being to harsh on dengue fever, a band that plays khmer music sloppily.

  • Yeah dude... relaxe a little! For crying out loud, I am so glad to see other than my own race participating and playing Cambodian musics. It is a thrill to watch. The guys and girls were just having fun. I agree with you allyne82. Go Degue Fever band if that what you are. Thank you for sharing.

  • woops i didnt mean bring back from the dead, i meant revive haha

  • at least this band is making cambodian music known. The fact americans and non cambodians are listening and paying any attention is because of this band- no one knows of this Touch person besides you and some other cambodians.

  • yeah they're making cambodian music known by a god awful singer those guys pretty much bought from khmer.

  • theLIVE1, no dude your stupid, they are helping revive our khmer music more to the media. of course shes not Touch Srey Nich, but what are u gonna do? wait for her to come back from the dead? i hate to say it but alot of khmer people like you have negative attitudes like this which helps with nothing

  • and your just a piece of shit that thinks you know everything about everything. your so called good attitude towards this band is what make cambodia look bad, and well cambodians like you seem fucking ridiculously. you wouldnt even realize good talent from khmer if it knock you on the head.

  • And angry idiots like you make cambodians look better? What are you doing that is making Cambodians better? Everyone is intitled to their opinion, and no one's forcing you to listen. The fact that they're out there is good enough. They're showing that Cambodia has more to offer then the little girls they sell for sex, and the thugs that are in the US.

  • touch sreynich isn't dead... lol! so funny!

  • not a lot of people are touch sreynich, but that doesn't mean they should just shut up. if everyone who isn't touch sreynich just shut up and not even try, we might as well kiss our khmer music goodbye.

i could say the same thing... touch sreynich is no ros serey sothea. bleh bleh... same thing.

  • The bad ones should stop singing. Its like when you see those bad singers try out for american idol. Why even try if you can't sing in the first place? your just goiing to slaughter the music.

  • she's not a bad singer... maybe this is just a bad quality video... but she's actually a great singer.

  • It's cool that you like her singing. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I just find her singing horrid. You make good arguments:)

  • I think Ros Sereysothea would be proud of what dengue fever is doing with her music. A great music scene that flourished in Cambodia, not yet to be showcased to the world, cut short cause of the Khmer Rouge. I Hope dengue fever makes it big.

  • This has 60's Twist to it....

  • that band

    is fucing cool

  • It look fun, wish i could be there.

  • were those girls like random chics from the audience who were chosen to go sing up there? i'm confused

  • what part of seattle is this? when was this?

  • isnt da 2 girls on the right sina nd nirroth?

  • bong thyda lim??

  • yes dear?

  • LMFAO.. dun cha remember me?

  • My oh my... is this little Erika? Only the bombest singer in the entire universe at her age?

  • yepp dats me.. LOL hey bong hows it going?

  • Is this thyda from KC???

  • uh oh... who is this? *bites nail*

  • hehe...i'm your stalker... :p
