Thanks for the great tutorials. My video (also contains audio) response is actually two simple animations I created in Bryce and then filtered or overlayed in MagixMusicVideoMaker, and used image also filtered in UleadPhotoImpact. I'm not as advanced as you on my Bryce creations and skills, but hope you like anyway!
The X-Wing Has Image Maps on the Mesh Objects. Image Maps Speeds up renders almost 3x faster than the Bryce textures. So if you use a City Image Map on the City Built Terrain, you do not have to wait over night for any renders.
If you do, then it's only because your renders are about 30 seconds to a Minute long. Be creative, Try to create some image maps in PhotoShop or go DownLoad some Image Maps from the net. Apply them to Objects in Bryce You will star to see Photo Realistic Renders.
if an object is selected & you do not see the object in your view, you can point your mouse into the second drop down arrow along the left side of your 3D animation window & select "Center Selection" That will instantly point your camera or your Directors View to the Object Selected. You do not have to chase a selected object.
Multiple cameras can not be built in Bryce. But Once you Master the Application There are ways you can animate the camera so it appears that there's more than one camera.
Can be a bit tricky but the illusion can be created.
The X-Wing is a 3D Mesh Download you can get free from 3D Mesh Websites. Search the Web with Patience & you can get Almost anything you want for free.
Hello sir, thank for posting all your free tutorials! Your work will really help me on my school project which is about making a new country from scratch(!). The goal in my project is to make an introduction (about 2-5min long)with a camera flying around through the landscape and city with some nice background music included. I was hoping you could give me some advice to what other programs and some "how to websites" that could include some cool effects/tips.
I Read The Book on Bryce. Produced a 7 Minute Movie with People Talking in Bryce. I have worked with Paths in Bryce. if there's anything I can help you with. Please what are your Questions.? You can see my Movie @ BW3D com. Add the dots.
Well, you can look for 3DS or DXF models that you can import into Bryce. There are lots of online locations -- some have animals, some have spaceships, some have people, etc.
Good luck! Let me know if you need help finding them!
Wow... you make it look so much easier than I thought it was... I haven't played with Bryce in a while... once I get my new computer I think I'll start working in it again... thanks for all of your tutorials. They're all VERY helpful. Seriously. Every single one.
Thanks for the tutorial, it helped me a lot!
