I miss Vanilla WoW, Level cap to like 60, People actually working their butts off doing quests. It was nice, now Wotlk came through, I also miss Burning Crusade and the Opening of the Dark portal, that was awesome! I wish Blizzard could atleast bring back these one more time so that we could all see them again.. :*(

Instead of Shadowturke's proposal of closing the gates again, I propose just making a heroic version of Ahn'Qiraj. So that level 80's (and soon 85s) can reap the treasures from this great raid which I personally didn't have the chance to experiense.

Its not rgiht for blizzard to leave out these raids in cataclysm i hope to god they will revamp these all to level 80 not just Ahn'Qiraj but MC... ZG....... Karazan ( while it was 40 man not the BC shit ) fuck it they need to revamp all the level 60 raids

In Cataclysm, Ragnaros will be moved to a place near Ashenvale called The Firelands. There'll also be two new parts of Blackrock Mountain; Blackwing Descent and Blackrock Caverns. Grim Batol (in the Wetlands) will contain a currently unnamed raid against Deathwing.

@Paybays yes Vanilla WoW is so much better. Just watching this video and seeing all the gear people were wearing almost makes me want to cry. I miss those old days of Vanilla when people actually earned their gear... even getting a full 8 piece set of blues was somewhat of an accomplishment. I remember being proud of the greens I had at level 60 lol. Now Blizzard hands everything out like candy on Halloween... sigh. Today purple is the new blue. So sad.. Vanilla was when WoW was proper.

EVERY realm, that means if you transfer to a new server with the gates still closed, you can get the Qiraji Battle Tank

It was a ridiculously long questline and at the end of it they got a Qiraji Battle Tank, except it was usable anywhere and was a legendary mount, plus it was a sick black color.

Via a very difficult quest chain involving every raid instance pre AQ you obtained a staff which could be used to strike the gong of AQ and open the gates. Additionally there was a quest for your entire realm to turn in trade goods such as cloth, leather etc for the AQ war effort. you needed at least 10k of each kind of good so you couldnt do it quick

Doing so you recieved a legendary scarab mount and a title you can only get by opening the gates
