  • can you please tell me what version this is please...

  • @simplesandy The composr is Healy Willan. The sheet music is published by Carl Fischer.

  • @ledwardsmithII thank you very much for your reply Happy new year xo

  • wow this is the version we did in highschool in 75...we walked down the isles from the back of the auditorium holding candles ...the altos down one isle and so on ..and we sang it slower as we echoed back and forth to each other ..OMG!! the chills it gave me...

  • We're singing this in our chamber choir for the christmas choir this year!

Oh my, it took us forever to get together the parts with all different melodies haha

  • Finally, I've been looking for this version for ever:)

  • i miss that choir so much... best one i worked with in high school...

  • we are the only two videos of this on youtube!

  • One thing ... it's important to keep up the pitch on the end of the words. Otherwise not bad for a highschool group!!!!

  • I totally agree -- how excellent!

  • what a well rounded choir. :)

i love how you guys lean into the sound in the "gloria in excelsis deo"

fabulous vowels and tone texture too! :)
