TMAP is not an abortiion pill, there are abortion pills available for women and this isn't one of them. Conception takes several days after sex. TMA is just another pill that you can use to prevent conception, except this one is more effective a few days after the condom breaks.

While I am pro-choice myself, I did not find her views extreme at all. She is against prosecution, she is for helping to reduce abortions and help women dealing with a traumatic situation. Remember, there are those that are raped that are initially pro-life and have internal conflict over abortion, counciling might not be bad for those individuals. She doesn't seem to prioritize abortion compared to other problems of the state. BUT...

What's even more disturbing is that Palin feels that hormonal contraception interferes with "life," hence it causes an abortion which is akin to murder in her book. I am sure that she would not want the government to fund hormonal contraception and other effective methods. If we all followed her morals we would be stuck with condoms and barrier methods that aren't as effective at preventing unwanted pregnancies as the pill. I think she is too extreme - and she shouldn't decide for any doctor.

Palin speaks as if pro-life vs. pro-choice is a personal, moral choice - which it is - but in the end she's implied she's against legal abortions. I don't take issue with her opinions but I DO take issue with her desire to impose those opinions on my body and the bodies of perfect strangers.

Each stage of human life has a name and each human life has value. A fertilized embryo (unlike an unfertilized chicken egg), develops into a fetus, which develops into an infant, which develops into a toddler, a child, a teen, an adult. Each stage has value.
