I would say the worst bailout request i've heard of soo far was last year when i found out the porn industry was requesting one. What in the fuck makes them think anyone would give them one? Making videos is not going to do anything. If you want real change, the masses have to create their own bartering and monetary system and disrupt the current banking and monetary system. Imagine if our local tellers took on our cause, what if all our low level clerks accepted another form of currency created by the masses. Fuck waiting for big government, we have to look to bail ourselves out. We need to get rid of credit and base our bartering upon value. If you give value, you get value.

as far as i'm concerned all the CEO's of AIG and GM can go fuck themselves, but all of the employees? i feel really bad for them, especially since my dad was layed off last may from champion airlines dieing and he still hasnt found work. and with GM, detriot is in enough troubble already, they dont need GM to fuck them over like they did for flint (i know the situtauions are different but the effect will be the same)

I feel bad for anyone who loses a job. There is some real pain out there, and much more to come. But a bailout just takes money from one part of the economy and puts it into another part. And on the way, a good deal of that money gets sucked up by the bureacracy of the federal government.

I assume the implication is that without bailouts we'd lose jobs? Anything the government "injects" into the economy has to be taken out of the economy. You can protect jobs in a failing industry, but it will cost jobs in a more successful industry.
