Tastingo, most of these men do realize that many of our wars were fought for false reasons. When weapons of mass destruction were not found in Iraq it opened the eyes of a lot of Americans. The rights found in that document are not given by man but by God.

When push comes to shove, the military and police will shoot civilians, at least initially. They always have.

Any active duty military who join Oath Keepers will probably not be put in a position to curtail the violence against Americans.

Your question should be directed to obama and your local rep that approved of the military spending program. An oath keeper can be a police officer or politician and does not necessarily have to be a soldier. A soldier takes an oath to the constitution and the commander and chief. Where in the constitution does it say that a soldier is not allowed to kill people in a conflict outside the US?

I don't trust who's in charge of the military now with the current climate of the country, but I trust those who I know who served in the past and did so for patriotic reasons.
