r u making a finding nemo theme? Because I want to make one i haven't started yet i wanna do research on the fish and all that...just wondering if your doing it maybe could give me some advice
thats weird! I am just converting to saltwater. I got a rock like MED that was that shape for 20 bucks. Maybe you got a LARGE? I cant tell. I want to have a percula clownfish tank too but are they good for starting? Tell me how it goes.
hey there, it's about three weeks now, the fish seems still happy... I made a mistake though at the beginning, I turned on the protein skimmer, and the carbon filter is there too, both of which are not recommended during recycling the the new tank, because that doesn't help the bacteria to grow at all. I took them out a week ago, now my cycling will take a bit longer...

Why wouldn't you just use a cocktail shrimp to start the cycle?
A lot cheaper and safer than using a live clownfish.
Or even just 1-1 1/2 pounds of live rock per gallon..any sort of die-off from the rock would start it...safely..

a clown for cyclin g usualy people get likea damsel or 2 i did... but its your choice.. cool tank.

i hate damsel there just to aggresive -killed my clown fish so i flushed him : )

If you only had 1 yellow tail damsel then they are calm. more than 1 will make your tank hell.

hey that piece of rock is not cheap. it looks like a medium size. and medium in my petco cost about 19.99 and the large are 24 or 27

never get things from any pet corp thinsg are usually cheaper at private aquariums haha, im lucky to have an asian one near by my house tax free lol
