The first moment I herd it, Woah...I'm speechless. They revealed the awesomeness of the Lord. And the moment I've known it I started learning this song. If God's will, this will be my first special number that I'll be offering to the Lord....
when you choir is this big you have stopped looking for talent and just let anybody in to keep people happy...... the reason I'm saying this is that iv heard choirs 2/5 this ones size sound fuller, louder, cleaner.
He has a great voice, but he seriously chopped up the song. He needs to follow the actual notes and their lengths. He either holds the note too long or cuts it way too short. Look at the video put up by- beneverson77.
@LAMBOFAN4EVER Unless I am just mistaken, I thought it was about worship not performance. But, that is the way we have gone. God is not interested in the length of notes, but the heart.
and again I must say he has a great voice, but you don't want to do a bad job on the song. I play music all the time at my church and if I were to do stuff like this I wouldn't be allowed to play. The way we have gone is the way of changing things like that just like you hear celebrities sing our national anthem. They just have to make their own version and it chops up the song.
The Bible does say to play skillfully with a loud noise, and also it does say to worship in spirit AND in truth. So the truth or playing skillfuly could parallel how long you hold the notes. Besides there is a practical application for counting. And that application is that we start and stop together.
As requested, here are the lyrics I've come up with to the best of my ability. Please forgive me if I've erred somewhere... and enjoy! To His Honor and Glory, my Savior!
The church in which this is being performed is Lancaster Baptist Church in California. A wonderful place it is. I was just there for the Leadership Conference last week, and it was amazing. Ron Hamilton performed this song during the conference, and the choir sang with him, just like this. It'd be an absolute blessing to have that video here too.
Bow the knee, bow the knee He is King of All the Ages, bow the knee God alone, on His throne See Him High and lifted up,and bow the knee Kneel before Him, all adore Him as you live to love Him more, bow the knee Bow the knee, bow the knee He is King of All the Ages, bow the knee God alone, on His throne see Him high and lifted up, and bow the knee Yield before Him all adore Him as you live to love Him more, bow the knee bow the knee bow the knee........
My favorite part in this song is "In His hand He holds the power of creation. With His voice He spoke and all things came to be. Yet He hears each simple prayer I bring before Him, as I humbly seek the face and bow the knee." It is so humbling to me when I realize just how much love He has shown me throughout my entire life.
It is an amazing thing when you think about it. The God who spoke the worlds into existence in six days, takes the time to listen to each and every one of us, "as we humbly seek His face, and bow the knee" Praise God
I love this song. I think I heard it off one of Ron Hamilton's cd's while at college and liked it so much that I ended up having my friends listen to it. We ended up singing it in bus meeting at school. It means more too because the writer has been through a lot in his life and yet he writes songs upon songs praising God.

What a privilege to come into God's presence
Just to linger with the One who set me free
as I lift my eyes and see His Awesome Glory
I remember who He is and bow the knee

Bow the knee, bow the knee
He is King of All the Ages, bow the knee
God alone, on His throne
See Him high and lifted up, and bow the knee
Kneel before Him, all adore Him
as you live to love Him more, bow the knee
In His hands He holds the power of creation
with His voice He spoke and all things came to be
yet He hears each simple prayer I bring before Him
as I humbly seek His face and bow the knee

Yes, it is very humbling to realize that God always hears our prayers and requests, no matter how foolish they may seem.
Isn't it wonderful that He doesn't always give us what we ask for? That He knows the best thing for us and always supplies those things?
Thanks again for this video. :)

I don't know why, but this past week I have been in a depression. When I listened to this video, it really brought my spirits up so
that I have such peace within me. I really do love Ron Hamilton's music. God has definitely blessed him when it comes to music.
