Right on Suze! Those who think it is important for the Bride and Groom to know how much they gave them as a gift is - tacky - to say the least. It sounds like they are trying to grab attention (by saying look how much I gave) - rather than celebrating the union of two people.
And Lou - a friend of mine said you have a "suave" approach to reading e-mail. LOL! Suave or not - you do a great job!
