Here's what my final opinion of MACS and PC are:

MACS are for people who don't really know how computers work and don't care; they just want a simpler way to get things done.

PCs are for people that love to mess around with their computers and games and prefer to customize and get creative with things because I think it is easier to mod on a PC than a MAC. I mod my computers all the time. Im proud to be a PC.

Mac: Simple people who dont want alot of effort in their computer usage. Great for designers because it doesn't crash that often (admit it, every pc can crash, even macs.

Windows: People who want a little bit more out of their computer, alot of gamers too.

Linux: The people who like to modify everything in their computer

I hate the mac desktop it looks ugly as hell and it works annoying.

I myself like the ability to be able too choose from a gazillion of software instead of the software apple chose (even if it is running super smoothly)

And I'ver found myself being stuck to some other brand. I do feel like being stuck to apple though.

Damn me, I like mac computers, but i find this commercial offensive. It's hipocratic, that Apple trying to imply that PC is offensive, while they're also doing offensive ads. Shame.

(I've seen "comparison" between PC and mac, where "journalist" wrote "Leopard is cheaper than Windows 7, because it costs only $29, not $119". Wow, mac is a state of mind. Other journalist wrote "iPad hasn't multiasking, but that's not a problem: my son bought two iPads. Now he also can do multitasking" :p)

PCs have their benefits, Macs have their benefits. Linux even has it's own benefits. I prefer Mac, as it is just way easier than the others, but Linux is certainly a good alternative - most versions are free and it's very secure.

If I had to sum up my Windows experience, it would be the memory of it crashing all the time

Keep in mind that most likely a majority of Mac users used PCs for years (like myself) and then eventually got fed up and switched. Not too many people go from Mac to PC and go "OMG! I can't believe that computing could be this wonderful!".

I've actually had worse luck when I was using a Mac. Both my high school and my university had them. I crashed them frequently (trying to run more than one application). Very frustrating.

I am quite happy with my PC which rarely crashes.

I had a similar situation. Adobe programs basically REFUSED to run on OS for some reason and by the second day of class, the teacher switched from Mac to PC to avoid crashing. O_o

I was referring to the fact that they insulted their users in the ad by calling them simple, an adjective which means (among other things): "amateur, brainless, dense, dim-witted, dopey, dull, dumb, feeble, foolish, gullible, half-witted, idiotic, ignorant, illiterate, inexpert, mindless, moronic, nitwitted, retarded, senseless, silly, slow, stupid, thick, uneducated, unintelligent, witless." Not the best marketing campaign, in my opinion.

Oh I see what you mean now. BTW Apple has never had a good marketing strategy, all they do basically in their Get a Mac ads is insult Microsoft... I wish sometimes they would just tell us why Mac OS X is excellent instead of telling us why Vista is terrible.
