  • Wow, to Live and Die in L.A. Grandaddy and Jason have been sort of my existential track since mid- 90's... Such great and soulful music...I left Cali for a long while, came back, got married and everything pretty much turned to turd since...But the music was always pure, y'know? Or perhaps it kept me pure somehow, I don't know...Now I listen to Jason's stuff and it's like it all resonates...Maybe it just my need for that honesty...Artistic or otherwise. Hope it finds its way into an album...

  • Check out his new band! Admiral Radely.

  • I wonder if anyone has ever played a more extraordinary song in more ordinary surroundings

  • I showed my ex girlfriend this video and she said that 'he looks like the guy off the fishing channel'. I saw that she didn't really get it. I kinda had my doubts then that that relationship wasn't gonna end well, and i was right.

  • Beutiful song. Feels like he chose the most essential notes he needed for the melody, no more. Just the core words that he needed, no more. It's beutiful to hear something quite simple be so pure, when so many people spend their entire lives learning how to complicate things but never manage to appreciate the beutiful things in life and people.

  • i agree, jason needs to fire it all back up! he is an amazing person. Not many people get grandaddy. Needs to be heard!! :))

  • only Jason would be able to pull off this melody so well, really.

  • so good. so good. so good. one of his best.

  • New album? yeah!

  • Great song, great voice.
