The RSX is almost the same as 7800 but there is more then just specs of the gpu. PS3 can show better graphics then a 7800 like Killzone 3 and Uncharted 3 for example

@VickyH825 I think it will have big changes because 7500 is bad card compared to 7800

But there are a lot very cheap cards if you have PCI-E slot

you can play them all I think but I'm not so sure about far cry 2 but I think you can run even that

but you must remember that you can play most of these games at low-med settings

I used to have the EXACT same rig as u, same cpu, RAM and the 7800gs, but even with overclocks, i could't get HALF of what you got at 1280x1024 with all settings on max. I had all the driver updates and patches too. But its OK now cause i have a 9800gt and a 3-core cpu :D

I had clocked my 7800 GS a little then but still I don't know how did I got so good performance.

Now I have E8400 clocked @4.6 GHz and ATI Radeon 4850 overclocked , 4 GB of Ram and I have fps in cod4 without AA 333 =)

Dude there's no way you could have run this with that rig... well I guess you COULD run it at max, but you'd be getting under 20 FPS constantly, which won't show on the video, but it will play alot smoother with settings turned down.

Did you check if your background programs are running? If so, they are robbing you of RAM.

Also, check to see the maximum RAM you can have.

Not understanding if you're talking about your video card is OC'd and running like shit or you OC'd your CPU and everything else on your mobo ... you could be having timing problems.

Shut down all Process exept the ones in SYSTEM and Exploere.exe, don't OC your Video Card, consider 2.0GBs of ram.
