My Bro did some quick editing/special effects (very impressive) on his new Mac notebook. It recognised my camcorder (HDR SR12e)when he plugged it in and didn't need any other software, other than what came with his mac. Too bad I invested in a quadpro vista pc a year ago.

I have sr11 and I'm not quite happy with the quality of slo-mo shoots. I was expecting lower quality but this looks like it's shooting in lower resolution and then upscaling to 1920x1080. Obviously you can't see that on Youtube but on HD tv or monitor difference is big.
