Thank you SO much for replying! I'm going to check the video out now. Also, what is a POST wash? I'm thinking the final wash? So is there a pre wash? I'm learning girl, I'm learning.... LOL
I notice your new growth is a little more maintained in this video, do you retwist and freeform? If so how often and how do you keep the roots maintained so pretty?
@chyitaria my hair always looks like this a couple days after post wash. I haven't retwisted in almost a year. Check out my hair dryer video though. I think that is why it appears more maintained for a couple days.
I tried this style for work today. I loved it. I didn't like the alteration I did (my hair isn't as long as your's so I couldn't do the the front the same as yours) but my overall style was still cute. I just did flat twist on the top. Thanks for the idea.
im sooooooooooo glad you posted a style for freeformers- because i barely /RAREly see any freeformers style their hair or do style tutorials !!!! pleeeeeease do more !!! cause that market is wide open ! lol
@Cherished131 Thanks, my lipstick is a plum lipliner some unknown color from stila with my favorite Nars lip gloss on top. The color is Gothika. It's a gorgeous neutral when worn alone for medium to dark skin. It is discontinued so if you see it... GRAB it.
@proud2banurse Honestly, I prefer just good diet. If I supplement I'd rather use a hair vitamin with MANY vitamins and minerals including MSM as nutrients work together naturally. My diet is crap right now so I'm going to start trying one and see how it works. It's hard to tell because the seasons and our diet also affect our hair... if my hair grows, was it the vit, spring or cause I drank more water or cause my locs matured past shrinkage stage *shrugs*
@proud2banurse All that said, MSM is no joke and the one suppliment I feel helps hair. It doesn't make hair grow "faster" though. It lengthens the growth cycle so hair is longer before it sheds. It also makes hair look healthier.
I am still in disbelief that u have freeform locks. they are the neatest that i have seen. they look gorgeous. the freeform locs i usually see look terrible. thanks for the iinfo.
I love freeform locs but a lot have very dry damaged hair from lack of moisture. Napsfaya has a wonderful freeformed look. She doesn't even pop her locs but the health and sheen is palpable.
@MoesDreads I don't think it's brushing. I think using good ph balanced shampoos/conditioners has seriously changed my locs for the better. When I was using Dr. Bronners/natural shampoos and oils, my locs looked... fairly crappy to be honest.
A great and easy style to try! love it!
