we cant join if were in a diffrent school can we =( , cause im planning on utd but, uta doesnt offer the major i need. and this is something i really want to do
This is Great!! I would like to see more kendo clubs at more Universities. It is a great chance to introduce kendo to people who are interested. Keep it up!!

You really should slash across the stomach and move past the opponent as shown at 0:54; that way you avoid the falling body of your enemy, whereas the Do strike shown after it, you might kill your opponent, but their body'd fall on you and you'd be screwed. That's why I don't practice Kendo; too restrictive. They've taken a millenia old killing art and turned it into child's play, no offense to those who practice it. I think it'd be fun to do so long as I could practice freeform, though.
with this comment i can tell that you have never cut mats with a katana before. IF you have, then you would know why that what you said is incorrect. Also kendo is restrictive is because kendoka or kenshi were killing each other from "sparring" accidents. Also if their body fall on you AFTER you sliced them in half they dont pose much threat.
