  • great shots chris i use the 40d good camera

  • I really haven't found them necessary using the techniques mentioned in the video. They are a great tool for landscapes at sunrise or sunset however.

  • do u use any neutral density filter?

  • Hi Chris, I'm Rina from MALAYSIA.

Thank you for sharing. It really indeed a great tips from you. BTW... do u use any filter for the shots. Thanks again.

  • Thanks Chris for the great tips!

  • Hi Chris Im Trevor an NYIP student,

Tell me when you take photos of streams or water for e.g. do you actually sometimes stand in the water? How would you go about cleaning your tripod? And do you use a weight bag to stabilze the tripod? It's getting to that time of year for autumn shots !! Maybe I should invest in a pair of wellies too...

Thanks for the vids , keep them coming.

    Trev

  • @trevsky77 Yes I've stood in the water intentionally, and I've also fallen in! I usually just use a dry cloth to wipe down the tripod legs. Then, once or twice a year I'll take it apart and do a thorough cleaning. Fresh water doesn't really hurt it. Sand and salt water can be a bit corrosive though. I use a Gitzo 1325 which is very stable, and does not require any extra weight to stabilize it. Of course with a light aluminum tripod, a sandbag would be helpful.

  • Hi Chris great video and pics , thanks , i have two questions :

    1) what do you focus on

    2) manual or auto focus

    thanks

    dan

  • @dmarston1234

I use autofocus to lock onto the waterfall itself

  • Hi, thanks for the images, how do you know what shutter speed to use or did you use aperture priority?

  • I learned few interesting things about camera settings from your specs. Thanks Chris:) I like the lovely photos as well...

  • Good stuff Chris.

  • These are very fascinating images. I hope to capture these kinds of images one day soon.

  • Nice work. I really wish I had that much cash to blow.. I aspire to be a professional nature photographer after I finish school.

  • Really great video, inspirational. Many Thanx!

  • Thank you for the positive feedback. I'm glad you found it helpful.

  • Wow. Great images! Plus, it is so hard to find this kind of information, all the settings right next to the actual photo. Thanks a million.
