I agree with you on both bad and good about the film. It was an enjoyable film for me too. Love the use of Day for Night soundtrack in the film (Anderson used the score in his American Express ad as well. He must really love that film. Can't blame him, it's one of my favourite films too.), and the cool The Man in the White Suit reference.

I've only seen Day For Night once and it was a while ago so I didn't pick up on it unfortunately. I've never seen The Man in the White Suit so....
