it is so frustrating to play for people and they don't pay attention

i work at a restaurant as a busboy

and when my boss found out that i play guitar and sing, he told me that he wanted me to go out and play for customers before he even determined whether or not i was good lol

but sometimes i'll play for poeple and they'll say that i'm really good but be talking to eachother like i'm not even there

it's really hard on a musician when people do that even if it's a couple people in a group
