I like the Cadillac convertible at 1:24 which recaptures the freedom of the era. This entire dream-like sequence in its deteriorated state, and a slight warble in the audio, now adds another dimension looking back to a distant memory as a cocreative process. In other words, the song and video also relate to our own experiences. To me it's a reminder how romance was. The lyrics. and Campbell's evocative vocal have always made this song a favorite of mine... and this wonderful video!
